Normandy Crown Gas

At around 8:37 AM, this morning, I went to the Normandy Crown Gas station to purchase lottery tickets and (the present drawing and the next drawing: ***). At $2 a ticket, the price was $12. I also purchased *** scratch-offs for a friend's birthday. The cards are $3 each. I wanted to buy $90 worth (30 tickets). The cashier said that only 25 tickets were available for purchase. I paid for the lottery tickets separately ($12). I agreed to purchase the 25 available $3 Diamond Bingo scratch-offs. Each 10 cards at $3 each equals $30. Easy math. An additional 10 cards at the same rate also equals $30. So far that is a total of $60. 5 more cards at $3 each equals $15. The cashier charged me $85. That is $10 too much. The correct price for 25 cards at $3 each equals $75. I paid the $85 as I had been distracted by another customer who walked into the store claiming to have won $50 on the same scratch off a few days previously. She added that she thought the winning amount was $30; yet when she cashed in the card, the scratch off was actually worth $50. I congratulated her and smiled. When I realized my mistake, I was already on the highway toward work (Towson, MD). Upon parking my car in the employee's garage, I called the Normandy Crown Gas station phone number (XXX) XXX-XXXX. No one picked up the telephone. Upon arriving in the office where I am employed, I called from the office number. Again, no one picked up. This leads me to believe that the cashier knew he stole $10 from me and not answering the phone is an admission of guilt. I do not make a lot of money at my job. Again, I only purchased these cards as a birthday gift for a friend. I will never frequent their business again. I have been calling non-stop from both my cell number and my work phone number. No one continues to answer the phone. The business has cameras everywhere; certainly the theft of my $10 was recorded. Is this how the employees and/or owners run that business? In part, by stealing?
