Normandy Properties

Review: In June, I ended a one-year lease at [redacted] in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The property is managed by Normandy Properties LLC. As a condition of the rental contract, I was required to provide a receipt of professional carpet cleaning to avoid a fee upon move-out. This was completed, with a copy of the receipt turned in to the rental office when I turned in my keys. Several weeks later, when I received my security deposit, Normandy Properties, LLC had charged an additional $50 for carpet cleaning.When I called the rental office at [redacted] they were unable to put me in contact with a representative from Normandy Properties, LLC. I was given an email address, [redacted], to which I wrote a complaint asking for clarification on the double-charge. That email was dated July 28, 2014. Over thirty days later, I have yet to receive an acknowledgment of the email or response from Normandy Properties, LLC.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $50. I complied with the contractual agreement to have the carpets professionally cleaned prior to moving out and should not have been charged an additional fee.
