CONTRACTED TO HAVE ROOFS REPAIRED ON BUILDINGS
I SIGNED A CONTACT TO HAVE THE ROOFS REPAIRED ON AUGUST 25, THE FINALLY CAME OUT SOMETIME ABOUT NOVEMBER THEY SAID THEY MADE THE REPAIRS BUT OF THE BUILDINGS STILL LEAK I CALLED THEM BACK AND THEY SENT A NEW ESTIMATOR BACK WHO LOOKED AT THE ROOF AND THEN NEVER SENT THE CREW BACK TO FIX IT I CALLED REPEATEDLY OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS AND THEY WILL NOT COME BACK TO FIX THE ROOF MY CEILING TILES ARE BEING RUINED WITH EVERY RAIN AND THE INSULATION IS BEING RUINED ON THE OTHER BUILDING I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND WILL HIRE ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TO DO THE JOB

I do not recommend using this companyThey have wasted over a month of our time as we have waited to hear back from themfirst, to get a contract, then to get on the schedule The shallow "apology" I received upon telling them we had moved on to another company just confirmed that moving on was the right thing to do

Failed to repair leaking porch roof
Sep contracted NoAl Roofing to fix leakthey attempted repair on or around OctTried to pay for repair at that time, but employee stated an inspector had to come out first Waited several weeks and no one showed up The next rain we had the roof leaked more than before the repair After several call to the office an other estimator (***) came by and look at the roof and repair He stated the work was not guaranteed and there was nothing else than could doI then asked if they could put a new metal roof on instead of the repair We also agreed to another contract that I would pay for a new roof and materials only for the repair attempt After a month went by, I stopped by the office and asked about replacing/covering the roof and office manager stated that the material was not in yet I told her that I no longer wanted the roof and needed to settle up with the owner weeks later and no one has called

In we needed a new roof due to storm damageOur Insurance recommended North Alabama Roofing & RestorationWe got an estimate and gave them the O.K to do the jobWe had a pretty bad experience with them, but it problems were resolved in the endLast year we noticed we had water coming through the wall by the back door, on the inside, as well as on the outsideIt had us puzzled
We were not able to contact the Roofing company due to the fact that any warranty had expiredWe went up on the roof numerous times trying to find the leakIt only leaked after a hard rainFinally, last attempt to find the leak, we again went on the roof and took off a section of siding in the area where we thought was the leakAnd there it was.......North Alabama skipped one of the flashings and that created an area where water was able to get under the shinglesA inch piece of flashing was simply missingNow we have who knows what kind of damage inside the wallOur back door has shifted a little and in order to fix that we would have to replace the whole frame
Never will we consider North Alabama Roofing & RestorationNot only did we have lots of problems while they installed the roof, now we know that due to their mistake we had a leak for years

North Alabama Roofing and Restoration contracted to provide water/mold remediation due to water leak on Jan As of April work was not completed, although contractor had stated that work was accomplished, and the environmental test was negativeOwner (consumer) noted obvious mold in great room, with plastic sheets covering damaged areas, an attempt to mask the environmental test results (unethical work practices)Additional mold was discovered by subsequent hired contractor, *** as the previously contracted work, performed by North Alabama, was not performed Left numerous voicemails to foreman with no response Home owner (consumer) visited the home office and left additional messages with owner Since work had started, two foremen assigned had departed company - and consumer was not notified to the updated
