STAY AWAY *** was very rude on the phone She would ask questions about something that I just told her When I tried to ask specific questions about the weight that was estimated & then realized that NO BOXES were listed, she started giving me excuses of how that would be estimated later Then she accused me of being rude I hung up on her I then received an e-mail, telling me that because of my unacceptable behavior, they would not move me I DEFINITELY REALIZE THAT THE ESTIMATE WAS LOW BECAUSE SHE WAS KEEPING THINGS OFF THE LIST - TO CHARGE ME LATER

This company over exaggerated the amount of supplies used for shipping. The would not use shipping supplies I had on hand. On delivery of household goods they called one hour in advance of delivery in hopes of being able to charge even more money by the hour waiting for you to get to the house. I would carry my furniture on my back on the next move than use this company.

I thought I was using North American Van Lines, which is a very reliable company.

North America Moving and Storage moved our household goods within the last month. They made a great pretense of being careful and thorough. They made a list of the items and made me check off each item as they brought it into the house. However, what I wasn't aware of at the time was that not all of the items they took were included on the list. Only later when I was putting things away did I realize that items were missing. I am missing a Bose speaker, a small smart tv, cd player, dvd player. DON'T USE THESE MOVERS!. IF you really want to use them for some inscrutable reason, MAKE YOUR OWN LIST. It appears that this is company is a series of independent contractors with their own trucks, so I'm not very optimistic about getting compensation for my loss, but if there actually is a legitimate president of this company and he wants to rectify the situation, he can email me at [redacted]@gmail.com.

Be advised! This is NOT North AmericAN Van Lines, the reputable company. Sales people lie by nature. Nothing that I was told would happen happened. Pickup driver didn't call prior to pickup (as promised) and then tried to collect additional money for waiting. Pickup cost was added because the driver would have to walk more than 75 feet to his truck. Added $50 for 2 rolls of tape for wrapping furniture. Driver tried to get me to buy the packing blankets that were "included" in the move. Dispatchers and office staff were rude and insulting. Collection methods (cash or Post Office Money Order) are designed to remove all recourse from the customer. STAY AWAY!

These folks take dishonest to a new level. I had them move me from Columbia, SC to the Atlanta area, arrived 6 hours late and after loading half my belongings, informed me that my $4,500 estimate would be $19,000. I was able to negotiate the amount to $13,000 as I was closing on my home the next morning, My furniture arrived in Atlanta three days later than promised and when we were done unloading I was missing 10% of my belongings, these folks will no longer take my calls. The movers are rude, scam artists and and liars.

The Company Was very Efficient, Wasn't the cheapest, But definitely Worth the quality. The guys came in, Worked honestly and hard. I didn't have any problems, thankfully.

This company is terrible. They are scam artists. We picked them to move us back to the west coast from Miami. After our stuff was loaded, they claimed that the volume was 3x the estimate! This is an age-old scam. Unfortunately, they timed their arrival to pick our things at 5 pm, so this was 9pm by the time they told us that we had to pay 3x the estimate. To make matters worse, I didn't trust the company and wanted to pick my items up (and transport myself) 2 days later. The secretary had told me that my items were already en route. When I talked to the owner, [redacted], 2 weeks later, my items had never left. As it was, our items arrived to California 6 weeks after the pick-up date, 4 1/2 weeks after our scheduled drop-off date...AND they wanted to charge $300 extra for a shuttle because an 18-wheeler couldn't fit in our complex!

This company is a bunch of crooks and I hope this dissuades you from doing business with them.
