Dear Mr***,From the beginning of the transaction we could tell that you were engaging in resentful behavior as a result of our inability to lower the promotional price for youWe declined price offers that were below a number that we could realistically offer you, and this disrupted your sense of controlFrom there it turned into your were being treated rude, we never had permission to charge your card, we never told about the lead time, your were never told that you needed a pick up appointment, and every single selling point that we cover routinely throughout our sales processHow could we fail over and over again, get not one detail right with you, but have other customers make pick ups off the same truckload, receive the exact same service, and be happy? Our family works extremely hard to offer equipment at under $per lbWe treat all of our customers with respect, but every now and then we have a customer come through the door that takes person issue with us, criticizes our entire process, insults the staff, uses us for an outlet for outrageous aggression, and when we stand up to defend, they take to the internet to attempt to destroy our reputationAnother customer that purchased a lift from us, off of the same truckload, that ordered the same week that you did, received the same lead time, used a credit card and received a receipt the same day, whom had his drivers license photographed, has invited me down to his shop to take photos of his equipment for our websiteHe loves the productWe've shipped out over pieces of equipment this week and so far so good, everyone is happy, aside from a couple of transactions that had some freight damage and minor issues that they've given us a chance to resolveAll of our communications are rolling along smoothly and all of our customers are satisfied with very few exceptions In your opinion we have failed at every single process in our routine, daily business activitiesYour unfounded claims of mistreatment are totally outrageousA demand for cash, agitated behavior, and mistreatment of our staff, will not be tolerated be tolerated hereNorth American Auto Equipment will continue to take copies of Identification for all credit card transactionsWe will continue to handle every aspect of our transaction in the exact same manner, with one exception, and that will be to refund the money immediately upon receiving irrational communications from the customer Hopefully you receive some satisfaction from what you have accomplished hereThank you Tell us why here

Dear Revdex.com,In response to the complaint from Mr.*** ***On November 9th our office processed an Order for Mr*** with an agreed upon 2-week lead timeBetween
November 9th and November 23rd Mr*** had made several calls to our
office, each time he called he appeared to be agitated and
our office
staff used professional composure to assure Mr *** that his factory
pre-order was in route, and that we would contact him immediately upon
arrivalDuring one of the calls Mr*** argued that we never
had permission to process his credit card , and that we never mentioned the order time, but his first question was has my shipment arrived? This argument seemed
completely irrational to us, since all of our orders are billed prior
to shipping from the respective factories, or drop ship points, and the purpose of his call was to find out is we had received the shipmentWe emailed a copy of the credit card receipt immediately, at his request, when the order was placedWe did
our best to stay patient and professional each time he called, despite
our growing concern about the behavior that we had been receivingOur
family business is about more than taking money, its about producing
happy customers, and given the fact that Mr *** is local, nothing could
be more valuable than another local customerOn November
23rd Mr.*** was notified the his order had arrived, at that time he
decided to change his order and our office made the changeA pick up
appointment was scheduled for 11-between 2-3pm.When Mr***
arrived at our warehouse on November 24, he seemed agitated, when he was
asked for his a copy identification he blew up and flat out refused to
provide the license. He told us he wanted a cash refund, rather than a
credit to his charge card, and when we declined, he became even more agitatedThe argumentative phone calls alleging that
we never had permission to process his credit card order, the violation
of his rights for asking for a copy of his drivers license on a
$piece of machinery order - (a practice that we have all been
subjected too at equipment dealers, car dealerships and and pretty much
all large ticket transaction dealers) just flat out do not make senseWe ask for a valid government issued identification to validate the identification of our customers, and too prevent credit card fraudWe
were the recipients of the "flip- out" behavior, wild accusations, and
had to use the threat of a phone call to the Police in order to calm the
embarrassing situation downMr.*** was treated with respect, and any other less understanding vendor would have denied him serviceWe
are all hurt and embarrassed to receive the type of behavior that we
received, and it hurts even more to receive outrageous complaints for
professionally standing our groundThank you

I am so disappointed in your response. I do not have a
problem with your product. I am worried about identity theft so is my right to
require North American Auto Equipment to immediately delete /remove and discard
any pictures or photo copies of my driver’s license, that you took a picture
with your unsecure cell phone and sent through cyber space to your company’s
email and then printed and stored into your files.  You said that’s how our business handles my
personal information. But I am worried!   I paid with debit card which is cash please
see consumer privacy below. My bank does not require for any merchant to
take pictures with cell phones or any type of electronics of my driver’s
license when purchasing with debit card/cash. There was no need for North
American Auto Equipment to take a picture of my driver’s license.  Consumer PrivacyMassachusetts law limits the amount of information merchants
can require for check cashing and credit card purchases. ( M.G.L. c. 93 §105)For credit card purchases, a merchant is not allowed to
record or require personal information that is not required by the credit card
company. Generally, this means they cannot require or record your address,
telephone number, or social security number. For check purposes, a merchant can ask to see a credit card
but may not write down the credit card number. Merchants may only record your
name, address, and driver's license or state ID card, and telephone number.Your Massachusetts driver's license number may be your
social security number. To protect your privacy and to guard against fraud, you
may request the Registry of Motor Vehicles to assign you a random number. When you provide personal information to a retailer, your
name could end up on a marketing list. Some merchants compile information about
their customers in order to notify them of sales. This information may come
from discount cards that are scanned at the register. If you have privacy
concerns, ask the merchant for a written policy about how this information will
be used.

On November 9th I did purchased an automotive
tool by phone from North American auto equipment. Which they immediately
withdrew the complete payment from my debit
account that day.  I found this
company on [redacted]. I ask for a certain tool that they were advertising on
[redacted] and [redacted] said they don’t carry that brand he was advertising on
[redacted]. He said he has one in another brand so I purchased it with my debit card not a credit card. [redacted] told me it would
take 9 days not 2-3 weeks and never informed me that upon pick up that he would
be taking pictures with a unsecure personal cell phone of my driver’s license
that contains my personal information. It is my right as a consumer to protect
my identity and not to let it be photographed and then sending though cyber
space to an email and then printed out and storing it in his files. Where ever that
is.   I never
called and argued about them withdrawing money from my debit card-- not a
credit card like they said.  If
it was a problem I would have just called my bank. I called them again Monday
16th for update they said they still waiting on shipping containers maybe Friday
the 19th. Then I called Monday the 23rd and item was in, they didn’t call me to
let me know I had to call them.   I did change my order
it was more money which is no big deal the extra $300.00 dollars was paid in
full by my debit card that day.
[redacted] told me I have to make an appointment
to pick item up from their warehouse. She stated you only pick up on Tuesday and
Thursdays which was never disclosed to me when I purchased on the November 9th..   I had to hire a man and his tow truck to pick the
item up from their warehouse on Tuesday 24th between 2 and 3 pm.  upon arrival with receipt in hand.  [redacted] greeted me and stated he was going to
take a picture with his cell phone of my driver’s license to release item.  I told him he can see it but you cannot photograph
or take pictures with a cell phone of my driver’s license.  He said your tweeking out and he was selling
me nothing unless I give him my driver’s license to take a  picture with his cell phone or get the f” of his
property.  [redacted] said he is going to refund my money.  I said in that case you have get me cash because
I paid with a debit card and not a
credit card which is cash.  He
starting flipping out yelling he was calling (the fuzz. Those were his words ) The tow truck driver is a witness to all of this. He stated
that was very unprofessional of a company to do that to anyone.  So for me to pick up what I purchased I felt pressured
from this company to allow them to photograph my driver’s license against my
will for an already paid in full purchase with receipt in hand. I spoke with my bank
and it is not a requirement to have my license or government id photographed.  Or pictures taken by cell phones when using
my debit card to complete a purchase and I can refuse to produce my license to
complete a purchase using a debit
card.Nowhere on their website
or receipt does it state your licensed will be photographed or pictures taken
of it with cell phone to pick up your purchased item.I was never rude in any way  I was trying to protect my personal information
it is my right as a consumer. North American auto equipment must remove/ delete
any pictures of my driver’s license from their phones, emails , files ect  that’s what should be done.  Ps The company
should provide tracking information or some kind of updated email ect. on customer’s
orders. It would be great not have the customer call to find out what the
status of their order is after dropping $2007.00 with  no communication from North American Auto Equipment.
it is the year 2015
