Review: Ordered a complete security system for resale to a customer. Consisted of 16 channel DVR,Power supply and 8 camera's. After installation 3 of the camer'as operated approx 6 hours and turned off. One had a cracked mount when shipped. Contacted North American Cable a.s.a.p. and requested RMA to return the camera's for credit. Was told the camera's were a discontinued model. On a camera order before this one I was told was discontined camera's also after receipt of the camera's.
They were to returned to [redacted] shop for a tech to test. After receipt a was told to talk to a tech about the conditons when the camera's failed. I told him the conditons and he said he would get back to me. I had heard nothing for 3 weeks and contacted company ([redacted]) to when credit would be issued. This time I was directed to a tech in [redacted] again. [redacted] who said I had casued the camera's to fail due to over-voltage even though I uesed the power supply supplied by them. I had replaced the camer's with another brand and they have worked since the 3 camera's failed. I could not keep my customer down for 3 weeks.
We have been in business since 1999 and have put many systems in. Our techs are highly trained. These were defective camera's and should be credited.
The tech wanted to charge me for repair on two of the camera's and said one did work. Do not want that camera back as it faild after 6 hours of run time and is a discontinued model. The other 5 camera's on this order are still working. If they go out I am sure they will not want to warranty them either or the rest of the equipment purchased.Desired Settlement: This is the second time they have sold me discontinued camera's. If I knew they were discontinued I would have not ordered them.
Do not want replacements as they are discontinued.
Want credit back to charge card.
