Our family ranch entered into a contract for purchasing agricultural supplies at a discounted rate and we did not receive the service expected.
In August 2017 our family ranch entered into a contract with North American Coop for purchasing agricultural supplies at a discounted rate. We paid an initial fee of $4950 for the right to purchase through them. In addition, I gave them another check dated August 2018 for $4950 that would have been due if we realized a total savings on our purchases for the year. It was sold to us as a lifetime asset that you could even pass *** to your family. We did not purchase any items during the year. The procedure was to have a price on an item you needed then contact their company either by phone or email. They would check their available prices and if it was a better deal I bought it through them. They always responded to all requests we made in a timely manner. We did not save the amount required for the year so in August 2018 I tried to contact them by phone and email numerous times to request my deferred payment be returned as stated in their contract. There has been no response at all to any of the calls or emails and the second check for the deferred payment has been cashed. The contract states that if there is two years of inactivity the contract is null and void. They are causing the inactivity on the account by not responding to our requests to do business.

We joined North American Co-op last year on 1/16/18. We had good service until about November of last year. We just tried to call them and found that the phone had been disconnected. We stopped payment on the second check which was dated 1/16/19. Sounds like this was a scam. They said they had been in business for over 40 years. They were able to save us money on several items. We had purchased a life time membership. I don't think we saved enough to cover the cost.
