On June 11th, Sure-Dry had meeting with client onsite to review all claims, at that time offer to rectify all claims at Sure-Dry’s expense was discussed and agreed upon by both parties On June 15th, a time was schedule to rectify all at Sure-Dry’s expense, along with requesting any local recommended mason contractor information On June 29th client provided masonry contractor information to Sure-Dry On July 7th, client informed Sure-Dry that they would have mason rectify, at that time Sure-Dry let client know that we would not refund requested deposit because of agreed resolution and corrections in placeOn July 13th, client informed Sure-Dry that work had been completed by client hired mason and they were requesting refund of deposit along with an additional $ Sure-Dry would like to rectify or at least have the opportunity to rectify this situation

Our contract (which is attached) states in the Exclusions from the Warranty that we do not cover exterior waterproofingAgain there are too many factors that can affect exterior drain systems that are out of our control, and this is why we have never warrantied any exterior waterproofingIn addition, the foundation is constructed of concrete masonry blocksThese blocks have hollow cavities inside them that can fill with water which in turn cause efflorescence to showThe attached photo shows a corner in which efflorescence is visible on both wallsThe corner blocks are stitched together to create a strong corner, tying both walls togetherUnfortunately, this method allows water from one wall to potentially intrude into the block cavities of the adjacent wallAgain this is why we do not warranty exterior waterproofingWe excavated the east wall for the straightening process, but there is nothing to prevent water from the north or south walls from entering to east wall through the corner connection

The request for $1,reimbursement has been declined However, I do believe that the benefits of the PolyLEVELconcrete leveling that took place at your property is being overlooked whenspoken about in the letter dated July 11th, The before andafter pictures show great improvements in all the slabs mentioned andaddressedThe foam used will help prevent future settlement in the areasaddressed, and the warranty that was provided states if the slab settles overthe next five years we will come out and make the necessary corrections The main reason the driveway apron going into the garage wasnot lifted any further is due to the garage door frameWe cut away at least ahalf inch of the framing in order to perform the lift you see today, it wasdiscussed at the time of service and agreed upon not to continue with furtherlifting The concrete section next to the service door that enters thegarage also had a restriction to how high it could be lifted, the steel doorframe is in the way to lift the slab any higherIt should also be noted the quote included lbsof foamat the price of $1,214.80; the price would increase if the amount of foampassed 96lbs at a rate of $per poundThis too was discussed and you didnot want to spend any more moneyWhile I can certainly understand your concerns the drivewayand sidewalk sections were lifted as quoted, any further service would requirethe removal of the service door and frame, and further adjustments to the frameof the garage door

I AM SATISFIED WITH YOUR WORK SO FAR.NO I HAVE NOT HAD ANY CONTACT FROM THE COMPLANTENT[redacted] [redacted]

The customer purchased wall stabilization using our Powerbraces and a SupersumpHe was also quoted Waterguard which is used to address leaking water issuesHe opted not to pay to have the Waterguard installedOur warranty clearly states we can only warranty against water leakage when an interior system is installedExterior draintile cannot be warrantied because once it is covered up with gravel and soil, any number of things can plug it upTree roots, dirt, iron ochre etccan plug up an exterior system that is not accessible and therefor why we do not warranty any exterior work

On March 9th, Sure Dry Basements Production Manger was contacted by [redacted] A [redacted] , that evening Sure Dry Basements Production Manger visited the property and confirmed that the wall in question had been permanently stabilized and improvement was verified Sure Dry Basemenmts Production Manager then went over all questions and concerns with [redacted] and her Realtor that evening, at that time all parties agreed that all issues and concerns where address and resolved On March 13th, all requested documents by [redacted] where emailed out by Sure Dry Basements Production Manager to her as requestedOn March 21st, Sure Dry Basements Production Manager followed up with [redacted] to make sure there were no further questions or concerns, [redacted] thanked Sure Dry Basements and stated all was good and no further action by Sure Dry Basements was needed

The Sani-Dry XP Dehumidifier that was installed on September 17, had a month warranty which means the warranty expired in March of The warranty on the unit has been expired for a year and half

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm not accepting the response from the business for the following reason: When speaking with the business about our dehumidifier, they told us we were fortunate it lasted years and they switched to a unit that has a year warranty I do not feel that the customer (we) should not be responsible for taking a loss because the business chose a poor product If the salesperson knew that these units do not last more than -years, they need to disclose this to their customers before they purchase the unit The business should be responsible for working with the manufacturer for partial reimbursement for the customer, considering the high price of the unit If someone purchased a vehicle for $30K with a year, 36,warranty and it stopped running, I would expect there would be a law to protect the consumer for taking a loss Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The point I was trying to make is that products normally far out weigh their warranty I do not feel fortunate that our unit lasted years; A unit that cost 10x more than a store unit should last MUCH longer than years We are out $and the only option is to spend another $and risk the same issue again I would like a name or number for a contact from the Sani-Dry to try and resolve this myself Regards, [redacted]
