This company is very customer service orientedJust this last May, they moved the contents of my bedroom apartment from CT to VA The price quoted was the price I paid and it was very competitive with other companies They are a moving broker and arrange with van lines that actually do the move for you Those companies will try to tack on added charges for packing materials, tape, etcBut one call to the owner of American Relocation, and he removed the excess charges Very professional, prompt, and available 24/to assist you with the moving process I had queen beds, a dresser, entertainment center, TV, nightstands, a desk, chairs, and a dozen boxes moved for $ Professional packing of all furniture was included along with reassemblyI can highly recommend this company and would use them again

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt withThe man I spoke with lied to me about everything we agreed uponI was getting quotes from places for my moveWe moved from California to IdahoI settled on a trailer from upack for about $About minutes after getting off the phone with upack, a man named [redacted] from North American relocaton called me with a moving quoteHe seemed like a true gentleman that wanted to help relieve some stress from movingHe was a smooth talker that told us what to expectHe forgot to mention that they were going to contract out the move to a company I have never heard ofthis is my first time using a moving company [redacted] told us that the price ($2672) was based on weight and we had up to lbs and cubic ft, it would cost per pound overI explained that we had a sq ft house with bedroomsWhen the movers got there on the last day to move out of the house, they looked at all the stuff we hadThey claimed that there was no way they could do this move for They wanted 5k to take care of this, so I called [redacted] to explain the situation I now had and I wanted some kind of an explanation [redacted] quickly said I would need to talk to dispatch and transferred the callWhen dispatch got on the phone and said they wouldn't do anything because there is more inventory then what was stated After that my wife got on the phone and had a yelling match with a manager and then got hung up onWe ended up paying $for this move when we had it all set up for $2700, we listened to [redacted] and thought that would be bestNow we are stuck waiting now for all of our belongings which will take to weeks ( [redacted] told us that all we had to do was call and they would deliver our stuff, but now we have to wait on a truck that will be en route to Idaho) If [redacted] would have been honest and told me the truth about everything, we wouldn't be going through this right now

Those companies will try to tack on added charges for packing materials, tape, etc. But one call to the owner of American Relocation, and he removed the excess charges. Very professional, prompt, and available 24/7 to assist you with the moving process. I had 2 queen beds, a dresser, entertainment center, TV, 2 nightstands, a desk, 4 chairs, and a dozen boxes moved for $1530. Professional packing of all furniture was included along with reassembly. I can highly recommend this company and would use them again.

We moved from California to Idaho. I settled on a trailer from upack for about $2700. About 20 minutes after getting off the phone with upack, a man named [redacted] from North American relocaton called me with a moving quote. He seemed like a true gentleman that wanted to help relieve some stress from moving. He was a smooth talker that told us what to expect. He forgot to mention that they were going to contract out the move to a company I have never heard of. this is my first time using a moving company. [redacted] told us that the price ($2672) was based on weight and we had up to 3700 lbs and 500 cubic ft, it would cost .48 per pound over. I explained that we had a 1600 sq ft house with 3 bedrooms. When the movers got there on the last day to move out of the house, they looked at all the stuff we had. They claimed that there was no way they could do this move for 2672. They wanted 5k to take care of this, so I called [redacted] to explain the situation I now had and I wanted some kind of an explanation. [redacted] quickly said I would need to talk to dispatch and transferred the call. When dispatch got on the phone and said they wouldn't do anything because there is more inventory then what was stated. We ended up paying $5000 for this move when we had it all set up for $2700, we listened to [redacted] and thought that would be best. Now we are stuck waiting now for all of our belongings which will take 2 to 3 weeks.
