Complaint # [redacted] I reject the statement of the hair dresser, she is lying in so many things,, From the first time I saw my hair at the salon I asked her why my hair was pink and purple and she said it would wash out so I was in a hurry to get out of there so I could go to my cousins house to see my hair better and let it dry a lil so I could see how it would look and within mins my hair looked horrible pink and purple streaks, at this time is when I called her back and said how can she fix my hair it looks really bad she was defensive and said it would wash out but when I asked how she was going to fix it she said that she would have to rebleach it and I asked if u have to rebleach it how was it going to just wash out on it's own like she just told me it would just wash out,, I felt like witch is it, it just washes out or we have to burn my hair rebleaching it to fix her mistake bleach on already bleached hair will burn your hair off at the root and that was my case she had to rebleach my hair and Burnt it off in many parts of my hair and I still left the salon with pink and purple streaks but now my hair was more damaged and burntThen days later I text her back told her my hair still looked the same and I wanted my money back and she told me no and she wouldn't fix it,, threw many text messages back and forth between us,, being a manager of many jewelry stores in my passed I know what customer service is supposed to look like and allure salon has no clue what that means,, I talked to the owner first and she didn't care and said [redacted] is independent rents a station and it's between her and I and just sounded like she didn't want to be bothered with the whole thingBut [redacted] dose work at her salon and it's a reflexion of her and allure salonIt was a totally unprofessional salon with no ethics in place no costumer service,, [redacted] dose not present her self as a professional at all she is very sloppy with her appearance and her work station she put a drape on me that had hair from her previous hair cut so I had hair all over me when I was done and when she put the drape on me she didn't put a towel under the drape around my neck so she got me all wet in the neck area and also ruined my shirt cause she got hair dye all over the neck area of my pink shirtSo just to say from the owner not caring what gos on in her shop to me having to pay $for pink and purple streaks that I DID NOT ask for, my hair burning off, rude rude customer service, and no professionalism from [redacted] and no accountability from the owner and [redacted] ,, this has been the worst experience of my life at a salon and the worst part is there is no way to get my money back for [redacted] s mistake she did to my hair she just gets to do what ever she wants with people and no accountability on her end!

On Monday 8/17/*** came into the shop for me to do herhighlights and colorThis is the first time I've done her hair andshe came via personal referral from her daughter who was previouslyvery pleased with her highlight serviced rom me.I've been licensed for over years and have actively
worked fulltime doing hair during these yearsI have never had a clientcomplaint with such accusations or even a single ticket from stateboard who inspects my personal station one to two times a year.When *** came in she explained she wanted color and highlightsretouchedWhich consisted of a color from roots to end and highlightsonly to bleach her one inch of outgrowthShe did say she wanted achocolate brown and showed me two boxes of color she had herself beenputting on her hairThese were a Rc (red copper) and Rb (red brown) .So I then explained go her that these colors are not what's consideredchocolate brown but simply red based color and we can do the samecolors or look at swatches n choose somethingI gave her my swatchbook and showed her the red, brown, chocolate brown toned colors &etcShe then stated she doesn't care so much in keeping the red(referring the the Rc/Rb) color and choose a color she liked of4Mv(mahogany violet).During her service I used ounces of color and some hair bleach forthe highlights on ***'s long thick hairBecause of her lengththickness, choice of two colors, and hair trim plus the time it takesfor this service I charged her $in which is very average and noway over priced*** never has a problem with paying for theservices and only has a issue with it days later.*** paid n left with no issues at all at the end of the service.But a few min after she left while I was with another client Irealized I had a missed call and a few messages about her not likingthe tone of her blonde highlightsShe states they look pink andpurple tonedI texted her back that I could take a look at it ncorrect it if she came right backSo a few min later she returned.When she came in I began to explain to her that the color she chose isviolet based and when u use violet or red based colors with blondesometimes it bleeds n causes staining for the first two weeks untilthe fresh color rinses outBut, as soon as I was speaking she wouldrudely cut me off & did not allow me to speakShe kept talking overme and saying that she has gotten her hair done for ten years and it'snever happenedI then to her if she has done red or violet colorsthen she should know how they bleedAnyone who's used those tones hasbleeding in the water when washing it in the beginningBut as I saidshe was extremely rude n still continued to talk over me about how sheknows about hair and her sister has done hair for years so she'salways been around itSo out of frustration I didn't even attempt toexplain to her further moreSo I just began to correct it with asimple bleach washWhich consists of mixing the left over bleachthat's already been sitting out for the two hours from when I hadoriginally started her hair with shampoo but I had to put each blondepiece in in a foil to keep it separate for only about minutesThisis just enough time for the bleach to remove the stained tone but notenough time bleach her hair any lighterI Rinse it and just apply anew tonerAfter doing this process she stated that it was the blondeshe wanted and was satisfiedBut I told her for the second time thateven if I removed the tone and corrected it that day as soon as shegoes home and wets or shampoos her hair it's possible it can stainagain until the color fades outHer response to me was "no it won'tit's never done it before" so after I towel dried her hair and brushedit out she said again the blonde was fine she began to grab her stuffto leave but now for the first times states that the color isn't whatshe wanted and is too dark with black tonesBut gets up and leaves.Two days later I receive many paragraph texts and pictures complainingNow of the color and that her highlights have a purple tone again andinsulting my workI then told her I'm not going to argue or goback-and-forth with her because she doesn't let me talk or want tohear what I have told her previouslyI explained to her that thecolor is what she pickedShe had viewed the book picked a color andsaid that's what she wantedThe color she picked is simply what I puton her nothing differentShe began to tell me that as a professionalit was my job to pick the color she wantedHowever, my job is toguide my client show them swatches so they see in person what thecolor looks like and allow them to choose what they wantThis isbecause with years of experience clients interpretations on one coloris different from person to personPeople view colors differently.And as far as her blondere-stainingI told her this would happen until the color stopsbleeding there's nothing I can do about it but as soon as it stopsafter about a week she wouldn't hv this issueAnd the blonde willstay the color she wants.Everything I explained to *** was at the shop the day she came inand after that everything was via text messages between her andmyself* is very rude and persistent with long insulting textsand unable to take my advice and now begins to ask for her money back.I simply tell her that I don't give refunds but correct work in whichI did with her original complaint of only about the blonde and Iwarned her what will happen after leaving the shopAnd as far as hernew claim of not liking the colorIt was the color she choseBut Ialso tell her I will not touch her hair againThis is because of herbeing rude, insulting uncooperative.After I text her that I wouldn't refund her or touch her hair againshe begins to curse at me, calls me names and threatens to slander myname with having her friends n family write reviews on me, contactnewspapers and your board. As a professions I choose not to respondor feed into her vindictive adult tantrum of trying to get her way. Aweek later after returning from vacation I receive your letter and herstatement to your boardIn her statement *** is now lying andmaking claims of broken hairIf her hair was broken it wouldnot be existent to even be stainedIn which was her actual issueIwill attach copies of all texts in which she never once states of aissue with broken hair and even sends a pic showing the staining onthe ends of her not broken attached piece of blonde hair.*** personally threatens to have the last laugh and states ofhaving a personal vendetta with me in which clearly shows herwillingness to lie and make accusations just to get a refund.Also I will attach a letter from the owner of the shop in which shepersonally asked me to submit to youShe was present the day I did***'s hair and received a long phone call from her the two dayslater
