Review: I purchased prescription eyeglasses at North American Rx I Wear at the Philadelphia Eye Institute on January 16, 2013. I paid the total amount on that day of $ 509.00. I received the "run around" about the location of the glasses. It has been almost a month and I have yet to receive my eyeglasses.Desired Settlement: I want to be compensated for my time and glasses because I work full-time and attend graduate school full-time.

Review: In April 26, 2013, I made a down payment on a pair of glasses from North American RX Wear. Two months had gone by and I still have not received my glasses from this company over a two month period. I had complained to the North American RX Wear [redacted] and they had told me they had broke the glasses and had to have them made over again. I asked for a refund from my credit card company explaining the situation to them and they put the money back on my card. However, my credit card company had given the money back to the North American RX Wear [redacted] because the North American RX Wear [redacted] insisted that I had received my glasses from them and this is not true. I find the time that have had to wait for these glasses unacceptable and am requesting my credit be refunded.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my down payment of $307.00 refunded because of non-delivered products over a two month period.

I am rejecting this response because:

I indeed still dispute the matter involving the deposit I paid. The first thing was, when I came in to check the status of the glasses, the bifocal was too high, the manager supposedly sent them back out. That was the beginning of May. The end of May I spent two days in [redacted] Hospital, after I returned home I went to have the bifocal measured again. I asked, “When will the glasses be ready?” I was told 10 days, in ten days’ time, I still had no glasses. I was there on 6/5/2013 because I had another appointment with the eye doctor at the [redacted] Institute. I asked about the glasses, they had not returned. I called a few days later and was told, “The glasses came back, but they were broken,” so they were sent back again. At that part of the business process, I decided that the company was not concerned at all about the glasses for me or having the glasses done in a timely manner. This is when I asked your company to put the $307.00 back unto the card so that I could get glasses from another company.
