Review: I purchased furniture February 12, 2014 from this company. A couch love seat 3 tables and lamps when delivered a lamp was broke they said it would be replaced has not been as of yet. The bottom of the love seat was ripped that was not fixed and they were told about it. I now noticed that the seam between the cushions on the couch is coming apart. I called to tell them and was told that was normal wear and tear. My furniture is a month old. It is leather and I paid 1,100.00 dollars for it. It should last more than a month. They refused to fix the couch. Please help.Desired Settlement: I just want the company to fix it or replace it.

On February 12, 2014 a customer by the name of [redacted] came into our store located at 3433 W. North Ave and made a purchase of a sofa & love seat 3pc table set and two cream lamps with a total of $1,100.00. At that time we set up delivery for Saturday February 15 before 3 because her furniture had to be special ordered and wouldn't arrive until the evening of Friday February 14. On Saturday February 15 [redacted] had her merchandise delivered, on the delivery slip the drivers did note that the customer only received one lamp and she signed stating the slip which states that it was received in good condition. On Monday morning when I went into work at 10 am Jim, a gentleman working at the store at that time informed me that [redacted] called him personally to tell him the bottom of her love seat was ripped and he told her to call the store and speak with, Cookie, the manager. I then asked if I had to call her back or if she will be calling me. He said he told her to call the store so there wouldn't be a need for me to call her. I then informed him that usually through delivery that area is exposed and not wrapped in plastic since its part of the packaging. However we will be able to replace it. I however did not receive a phone call from her while I was there. She did not call the store to complain about her lamp or the bottom of the love seat until a month after when she stated that her sofa is tearing from the cushions. At that time the manager that was there, [redacted], informed her that she can pick up her lamp anytime she is available since she never received it. However in regards to the couch we informed her that the company does not offer warranty and unfortunately our store policy states that any claims on merchandise need to be reported within 48 hours and since its been a month since shes received her furniture there is nothing we are able to do. We would gladly have our inspection/setup person to go and replace her dust cover and she is still able to come and receive her lamp. Unfortunately in regards to the sofa there is nothing we can do, since the company does not have warranty on their products and since she did not purchase our 5 year extended warranty plan. She can contact the store to contact me in regards to setting up a date so we can take care of what we are able to fix.

I attached the following images. one is the receipt stating what she received with the purchase date and her information. The second is the delivery slip with a note stating the customer only received one lamp signed and dated by the delivery driver, and with [redacted] signature stating she received the merchandise in good condition.

I would also like to apologize in the delay in responding to this matter. I did not receive the letter until recently when I stopped into the store location.Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.
