I regret that we did not respond to the Revdex.com's first inquiry. We recently installed a new spam filter and the first request was missed as it was caught in the filter.
We apologize for any problem or misunderstanding that has arisen from the...

purchase of the 2012 Avalanche. The purchasing party did have the ability to inspect the vehicle before they purchased it and before they took delivery. At no time were any concerns for the vehicle brought to the attention of the salesman or manager involved. The Avalanche had 32,040 miles on it and was in excellent condition for a vehicle with that mileage. It had passed our used vehicle inspection with no recommended repairs.
Delivery of the vehicle took place slightly after 6:00 on Friday evening, April 3rd. As we closed at 6:00, the salesman arranged for them to pick the vehicle up shortly after closing time. The vehicle was not delivered in the dark as the sun did not set until 7:43 pm that evening, see timeanddate.com.
The windshield was in excellent condition for a 32,000 mile vehicle. Any car or truck with miles on it will exhibit minor pitting due to road conditions. We replaced the windshield to make a satisfied customer.
Upon our original inspection, the brakes had approximately 50% of life left. As the brakes produced a slight ticking noise when applied by the customer, we resurfaced the rotors at no charge to them.
The original salesman who took in the Avalanche on trade has talked with the previous owner who stated that they never had a water leak in the bed of the truck. We will diagnose and repair the water leak as a gesture of good will. We will not take the vehicle back.
Also note that not one of these repairs is part of the lifetime warranty that comes with most of our used vehicles nor would they be covered by the federally mandated used vehicle warranty. Our lifetime warranty is a drivetrain warranty. Both warranty documents were acknowledged with a signature by the customer and are attached.
Again, I apologize for any problem or misunderstanding that has occurred. Please contact [redacted], Service Manager, to have your vehicles water problem repaired as soon as possible. He can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]@carouselmotor.com.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
