Had surgery at this surgery center on 12/18/2019. Had to pay entire deductible of $1500.00 upfront even though they had no idea what my deductible would because if other medical providers filed a claim first their charges would go towards the deductible. They filed with my insurance and my share was suppose to be $326.35. So they over charged me $1173.65. We have called them several times over this and the last two time they have even admitted they owe us. The last time they said a check would be mailed the last of February or the very beginning of March. Its Now the second week of March and still No check.
I am writing in response to complaint number *** re ***. Upon receiving your letter, a review was done of this account. We have processed a refund which was issued March 13, 2020, from our corporate office located in Addison, Texas. The issue regarding this account occurred because of a miscommunication between our billing company, ***, and our facility.
We regret that this was not resolved in a more timely fashion, and will review our policies and procedures to make sure this does not occur in the future.
