On *** *** went out to see Bernice Martinez to check her system and make sure MrsMartinez system was working correctlyWhile Mr*** was there he told MrsMartinez of the new system from Monitronics and the new
functions she would have on the new monitoring system, she was also told her equipment would be upgradedMrsMartinez agreed to the new contract and the new equipment, she also understood she would have to discontinue her service with Safe Home Security SystemOnce the contract was signed MrsMartinez was told she had days to cancel, on the contract Mr*** gave her an additional days to cancel her contract which was also mentioned by Mr*** on the bottom of the contract that MrsMartinez signedContract was signed and dated on 9.12.14, MrsMartinez had until 9.17.14, no later than Midnight to cancel her contract which was communicated to herFrom the time the contract was signed to MrsMartinez did not cancel her contract with MonitronicsMrsMartinez also signed a document stating; I Bernice Martinez understand that North Central Security, Incis no way affiliated with my current monitoring company/station as of this dateMy current monitoring company is Safe home security( I have attached this document)Also at the time of signing the contract MrMartinez did right a letter to Safe Home requesting to cancel her account on (this document is attached) I did call Safe Home Security and verified that they received her cancelation letter on to discontinue servicesPer Safe Home Security they require a day notice to stop the service from the home owners, thus the reason why MrsMartinez was charged by Safe Home and Monotronics twice for monitoringMrsMartinez was well aware of her obligations and what needed to be done once she signed the contract with MonotronicsOnce the new system was installed into her home she decided she did not want to continue with MonitronicsMrs Martinez still had an obligation to continue with Monotronics due to her not canceling the contract with in the time frame givenOnce our office was aware MrsMartinez did not want to continue service with our office we tried numerous times to contact MrsMartinez, she did not answer our calls or return messages left with her on her voicemailMrsMartinez has received brand new equipment totally $2,
