The customer purchased a Honda Cry on 5/North College Motors had purchased the vehicle from the *** Auto AuctionThe customer came in before the day temp permit was .up
and asked for his titleI realized that I had not gotten the title from the auctionI, contacted them to get the title and was told by them that they had lost itI communicated this to the customerThe auction contacted the dealer who sold the Cry to the auctionThey requested that they get a power of attorney from their customer so that they could get a duplicate titleDue to circumstances out of anyone's control, the power of attorney wasn't signed until October 24, A duplicate title was obtained on 11102/I received it from the auction and gave it to the customerHe went to process it and get his license plates and was told there was a problem with the paperworkHe brought the paper work back to me on Monday 11/21/I had to go down to Denver and get the title issued in North College Motors' nameI did that the next dayOn returning to FtCollins, I went directly to the motor vehicle dept in Larimer County and registered the titleI promptly called the customer and texted the completed registration to him that same day, November 22, 2016. I communicated directly with the customer thourghout each step of the process to replace the lost titleI even had the title clerk at *** Auto Auction call to confirm that everything possible was being done to get the titleAt no time was there a chance that he would not receive a titleI consider the matter closed. I have known Mike for 12 years, and my partner and I have bought about 10 vehicles from him. He is courteous, honest, and fair-dealing. He is no BS! I have also consigned several vehicles with him. wanted to spend.  We drove the car.  She stated that the vehicle only had to last till November and she would be leaving the state.  Like she said, there was nothing particularly wrong with the car.   I was very up front that the car was as is, No warranty.  She didn't request to have the car checked before purchase.  I certainly did not tell her that she couldn't have the car checked.  I specifically told her that the car probably would need maintenance or repairs.  [redacted] even talked to her parents to get their advice before she made the purchase.  This was not a high pressure sale.  I have been at this location for a long time.  I have always been truthful regarding full disclosure.  I told [redacted] that we did the following:  Pulled the [redacted], emission test, and detail.  Again, we sold the car as-is.           Sincerely Yours,      Mike K[redacted]        Manager     North College Motors
