inquiry regarding the shirt. With every customercompliant and problem, we strive to provide a neutral approach with first time customers to long-termcustomers. Our plant typically launders over 7,000 shirts in a month and we rarely run into issues such asrips, pens exploding, shrinking and bleeding. Dyes from imported fabrics typically have a run issue andtend to be a manufacturing defect, but [redacted]'s shirt (red and white) was washed with a large loadof whites with no other shirts demonstrating any pink hue or redness. On behalf of North County Cleaners Express, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience and hopethat we may resolve this matter. Our company policy offers a neutral approach to find the best solution forthe customer. When [redacted] picked up his shirts and noticed the pink within his shirt he wanted tospeak to the owner. The customer representative contacted the manager [redacted] via telephone to discusswhat happened to the shirt with [redacted] stated this may be a manufacturing issue andsuggested [redacted] visit [redacted] to communicate this issue. Before she could explain our entireprocess to take care of this matter to [redacted], the phone conversation ended abruptly. Our process typically encompasses for us to review the shirt and try to fix the issue. Then we offer ananalysis by a neutral party to determine where the pink hue and red came from and may take up to 30business days for the results. If the results determine it was the solution or process we can then use theInternational Fabricare Institute (IFl) fair claims guide to reimburse [redacted]'s shirt accordingly tohis original proof of purchase or original receipt. We would like to rectifY this issue with [redacted] as soon as possible, please let us know if we may tryto fix the shirt, send it out for analysis or we may use the IFI fair claims guide to compensate [redacted].Sincerely,North County Cleaners Express:'"312015 2015-01-18 07.34.30 pm.pngTable 1: Average Life Expectancy of Textile Items in YearsApparel 2Bathing Suits .............................. 2BathrobeLightweight.............................. 2Heavy or Quilted.......... ... .......... 3Wool. .................................... .. 3BlazersCotton and Blends.................... 3Imitation Suede*....................... 3Wool... .................................... 4Coats and Jackets (Outerwear)Childrens. .... . ......... .... ........... ... 2Cotton and Blends.................... 3Down....................................... 3Fur......................................... 10Imitation Fur or Suede* ............. 3Leather and Suede........... .. ...... 5Plastic.................................... 2Wool....................................... 4Blouses................................. ...... 3Choir Robes........ .. ................. ..... 6DressesCasual .................................... .Office ...................................... .Silk ...................................... .. .EveningHigh Fashion ..................... ..Basic ............................... ..Formal Wear ............................. ..GlovesFabric ..................................... .Leather.... ................................ 1Rainwear and Windbreakers 2Film and Plastic Coated .......... ..2Fabric, lined and unlined ..... .... .. ... 3Rubber and Plastic.................. 5ShirtsDress...................................... 2Sports.. .. ...... ........................... 2Wool or Silk............................. 2Ski Jackets(Including Down)...................Skirts.......... ................................ 2Slacks 2Lounging & Active Sport .. .. ....... .Dress...................................... 2Socks.......................................... 3Sports Coats 1Cotton & Synthetic Blends ...... ..Imitation Suede* ....................... 3Wool and Wool Blends............. 3Suits 4Cotton and Synthetic .............. ..Summer-weight Wool............... 2Imitation Suede*...................... 3Silk........................................ 3Washable................................ 3Winter-weight Wool.................. 2Sweaters.................................... 4Ties............................................. 3Underwear 1Foundation Garments .............. .Panties .................................. .Slips....................................... 1Uniforms..................................... 1Vests... ........................................ 212Household FurnishingsBedspreads ........................ 6BlanketsHeavy Wool andSynthetic Fibers.......... 10Lightweight..................... 5Electric.......................... 5Comforters......................... 5Down .............. ·............... 5Fiberfill. .... :..................... 3CurtainsSheer ............................. .Glass Fiber.................. .... 3Draperies 3Lined ............................. .Unlined........................... 5Sheer .............................. 4Glass Fiber..................... 3Sheets & Pillow Cases ........ 4Slipcovers........................... 2Table Linen 3Fancy ............................ .Other ............................. .Towels ................................ 5Upholstery Fabrics .............. ~5*Nonwoven only. Review: I took a shirt to this cleaners that they had laundered before. It is a red and white striped shirt from [redacted], originally purchased for $75.00. When I picked up the shirt it was pink this time. They have laundered this RED and WHITE shirt before with no problem. When I spoke to the owner she told me there was nothing she could do, that it was a "manufacturing defect". When I took it to [redacted], they told me it was the cleaner's responsibility. The owner was adamant that she could do nothing about the fact that they had RUINED the shirt. My household spent $1200 there last year, but that seems to be irrelevant to the owners.Desired Settlement: I would like to be offered $75 in cleaning credit for the shirt that was ruined and is now unwearable.
