After reviewing Ms [redacted] account for date of service 12/22/2014, the office in fact over charged the patient using the out of network fees instead of the in network feesI contacted her insurance company to get the corrected amounts that we could have chargedThe contracted fee amount for the crown and build up should of been $845, we charged $The insurance paid $towards the $Ms [redacted] should have paid $for her crown and build up but she paid $Therefore an amount of $will be refunded back to the patientI do want to add that it is correct that Dr [redacted] has since sold his practice to [redacted] ,? [redacted] ? and [redacted] Dental Partnership.? Dr [redacted] still works at North County Dental Group once a week to continue seeing his patients of many yearsBut we believe that if a patient has been over? charged incorrectly, then we will correct the issue by doing what is right
