Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Like I said before, the main reason for my complain is that the car had been painted from one side Before purchasing the car at Kia dealer I asked the sales person If the car had been painted and their respond was "NO it is the original paint" and that the car was if good conditionMr [redacted] said that the car was fully inspected and that there was no structural or frame damaged when it was sold to me After a month of owing the car I went to wash it and I noticed that the car had been painted and I immediately went to kia dealer and they sent me to service department and I spoke to [redacted] and he called Mr[redacted] (manager) and Mr [redacted] arrived and inspected the car and said that it was possible that the car was hitThey lied to me about the statues of the carI don't think they inspected the car before selling it to meI went to Toyota of Escondido Collision Center for a second opinionThey found out that the car from one side had been painted and they said that the person that fixed the car did a bad jobThey gave me an estimate, so they can remove parts from the car to see what kind of accident the car was involvedI also attached two forms from the estimatethey are charging $I bought the car from my saving that I had been saving for yearI will like to get my money back so I can buy a good car I also attached some pictures so you can see them they are circled in red, is where the damaged is and some parts of the car where the car has been painted are out of alignment

On January 31, North County Kia received a request for cancellation of Warranty from [redacted] , and the reason that was indicated in Ms [redacted] ’s handwriting was “refi” When a vehicle is refinanced, gap insurance cannot be transferred from one lender to another That is why the gap insurance was cancelledWe can provide a copy of the request for cancellation if necessaryThanks, [redacted] General Manager North County Kia

I bought a car from this place on OctIt is currently the 19th of December and I have yet to receive my license platesI cannot get anyone at North County KIA interested in trying to find out where my license plates areAll I know is that I gave them the money to get the plates and 9-1/week later I do not know where my plates are Since it is the week before Christmas, anyone who has ever dealt with the government knows that the government will not do anything until the 2nd of January That tells me that days into this problem (on Jan 17), I will not have this problem taken care of I want these people to get off their collective backsides and 1) get my plates, 2) refund my money or, 3) get some protection in place in case I am stopped by the police past the day deadline

We have responded to the Bureau of Automotive repair that we would refund the customer $*** *** from the Bureau was to inform the customer and we are waiting for the customer to contact *** *** the Service Manager so we can refund his money

[redacted]d the General Sales Manager just left a message for Mr. [redacted] tha he would send him a check for the registration. The registration was never charged in the deal, however , we recognise that we should have caught that mistake.

The customer cancelled the aftermarket warranty he purchased when he bought the vehicle. The first issue could not be verified, the customer claimed it was a defective idle air...

control valve that needed to be replaced- this had been diagnosed by the customer’s father. The service director drove with the customer and he was unable to reproduce the claimed issue nor were our certified technicians able to find any problem with the idle air control valve. The second issue the customer had with the vehicle was a small noise coming from the strut, this is not covered under his current certified warranty and it is not a drivability issue and will not affect the operation of the vehicle. We will replace the strut if  requested by the customer at a discounted price.[redacted]

After 2 months of ownership of his Fiat, Mr. [redacted] came back stating that he thought he needed a discount because he saw new Fiats selling for less than he bought his car for.  We told him that we could not refund...

his money, and that the sale of his vehicle was final.  He then returned a few days later stating that the vehicle had been repainted.  The carfax that we provided him showed no prior damage to the vehicle, and we told him that we could not do anything about his suspicion that the vehicle was damaged.  We told him that we had fully inspected the vehicle, and that there was no structural or frame damage to the vehicle when we sold it to him.  A few days later he returned with an estimate from another repair shop showing what it would cost to have something repaired on the vehicle, and we told him that we would not reimburse him for the repair that he thought the vehicle needed (it was cosmetic).  The last time he came in, just 2 weeks ago, he accused us of selling him a 2012 model and not a 2013 model, to which we printed the carfax and showed him that it was a 2013.  We also showed him on his own title that he brought in that it was a 2013.  His son and two daughters were here as well that day, and they confirmed that it was a 2013 model.
 
We provided him with our business office phone number (###-###-####) so that he could talk with our General Counsel, [redacted], if he had any further matters he wished to discuss.
 
At this point, we consider this matter closed.

Like I said before, the main reason for my complain is that the car had been painted from one side.  Before purchasing the car at Kia dealer I asked the sales person If the car had been painted and their respond was "NO it is the original paint"  and that the car was if good condition. I believe we have already responded to this complaint.  The only remaining issue was that we were accused of giving the wrong phone number to our legal department.  The number he was given was ###-###-####.  That is the number to North County Ford, which is where our General Counsel offices.  It's possible he thought he got the wrong number since it goes through another dealership.
 
Other than that, I believe I have addressed all of the concerns.  Please don't hesitate to call if you have any more questions.  ###-###-####

I bought a car from this place on 14 Oct. It is currently the 19th of December and I have yet to receive my license plates. I cannot get anyone at North County KIA interested in trying to find out where my license plates are. All I know is that I gave them the money to get the plates and 9-1/2 week later I do not know where my plates are.
Since it is the week before Christmas, anyone who has ever dealt with the government knows that the government will not do anything until the 2nd of January 2017. That tells me that 80 days into this problem (on 2 Jan 17), I will not have this problem taken care of.
I want these people to get off their collective backsides and 1) get my plates, 2) refund my money or, 3) get some protection in place in case I am stopped by the police past the 90 day deadline.
