I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
in the attached letter sent by the credit union they make it appear as they are trying to work with me to solve the issue the only resolution they have come up with is for me to sign off the title to my vehicle I would like for them to come up with a solution in which my rights are restored to my vehicle including my right to know the status of the payment on the truck because this can now affect my financial credit as well my attorney is contacting them because I am seeking legal action for their wrong doing if this can not be fixed.

Re: ID [redacted]Because we are a financial institution and have a Privacy Policy, we are limited to the amount of information we can give your concerning a member's account. Services to our  members is our number one priority and we have made several attempts to explain this situation to our member's spouse. We have also been in contact with the spouse's attorney and he is also advising her in this matter.We have tried to assure her that her ownership in the vehicle has not changed and cannot be changed without her signature. I am in the process of going through a divorce my husband and I have a vehicle together he went into the bank to refinance the vehicle of which I am on the title and the original loan. When the bank went to do the financial paperwork they failed to ask him if there was another title holder and they...

did not ask,therefore they did not find out I was on the title until they already paid off the loan In was on putting the loan only in my husbands name giving him full access to it. I feel it is extremely neglectful that a financial institution would not fully research the title of a vehicle before the are financing it and know who is on the title.

Review: Bank failed to check who were the title holders of a vehicle before allowing it to be refinanced. Of which one of the title holders was left unaware and was also part of the original loan, and was notified by her current loan company.Desired Settlement: Loan to return to former loan company at same rate and term.
