Review: Northeastern Asset Recovery began contacting me in early March of this year. [redacted], a representative handling my account, stated that I had two outstanding accounts and asked if I would make a payment on the phone by providing her with my credit card information. During our first phone call she did not provide the name of the company she worked for nor could she provide with any information regarding the two outstanding accounts other than the total amount owed. When I requested that a bill be sent to my home, since I did not have any record of any outstanding accounts, she pushed adding, "Ok, but if you could pay some amount of money to show good faith that you are interested in paying these bills. I would hate for this to be reported to the Credit Bureau." I stated I would be happy to pay the bills once I received a paper bill from the company as is customary with other companies. For the next two and a half months, I patiently addressed this same issue two - three times a week, sometimes twice a day, when [redacted] would call or an automated call was made and I was reminded by a representative that my credit score was at risk. Each time the call came from a different number and each time I explained that all I needed was a paper bill in order to pay the outstanding amounts. In my conversations with the representative, I provided my email and home address and stated that I would even accept a email bill to pay for the accounts. Since late May I began receiving calls from [redacted], a different representative from Northeastern Asset Recovery. The conversations remain the same as well as my requests. As of today, July **th, I have not received any bill or itemized bill from Northeastern Asset Recovery despite my efforts in even speaking with a supervisor named [redacted] who assured me last week that a bill would be sentDesired Settlement: Northeastern Asset Recovery should revisit their business practice. It simply does not make any sense for the company to expect customers to provide credit card information over the phone without any paper record/bill regarding the outstanding bill(s). In the past five months of dealing with Northeastern Asset Recovery I am beyond frustrated that continue to fumble through an explanation as to why they have not sent a bill as I requested in March. The company does not do anything reasonable in order for people, like me, to pay their bills. They should probably consider adding a pay online feature on their website; they could avoid complaints future complains against them.
