This email was written to Candace E [redacted] of [redacted] who submitted a debt collection on behalf of O'Brien Wexler & AssociatesI spoke to her June 7th, then wrote this email to her and cc'd [redacted] who was listed as the contact for O'Brien Wexler Just to review our conversation on June 7th, I am disputing this collection noticeHere are some facts: I have requested my former bank, [redacted] *** to send me a copy of all my transaction statements from Jan 1, to when it was closed, which I believe was in Sept or Oct of During the time of dealing with [redacted] , I made numerous attempts to email and call to dispute the charges from my bank account I never got any response from them and that's when I closed the account I moved to Florida in January of and [redacted] ***I lived there from Jan 10, to November 30th, yet I never received any lette
I have just received a letter from this law firm stating that I owe a debt that they "are willing to work with me" on amounting to $1,800+ I called to find out what this is all about, only to find out it has to do with a very sketchy outfit called [redacted] card something or other I have never heard of this credit card company, but they seem pretty unreliable to me on researching themas does this collection group who hung up on me when I was trying to resolve this I am years old and am pretty well still in charge of my faculties who doesn't have any recollection (or appliances or furniture resulting in any action) taken with [redacted] Since I live on nothing but my SSI, I am not too worried about what they are trying to pull, but there are many who would fall for a trick like this
I noticed on my credit report a claim from Midwest Recovery stating that OBrien Wexler & Assochad place a derogatory remark on my credit showing that I owe [redacted] $ I have never heard of any of these companies nor have I had any business or any dealings with them I demand that they remove this from my credit report right away I plan on filing a report with the Police Department for fraud
I received a notification via TransUnion that O’Brien Wexler & Associates claim I owe $2,for a payday loan from [redacted] that originated in 11/[redacted] is handling the collection claimed by O’Brien Wexler & AssocThis is a complete fabrication of monies owedI have attempted to contact O’Brien Wexler; however, no working numbers exist and [redacted] is unauthorized to give out their client’s numberI have disputed the claim with [redacted] and [redacted] This is a debt from 11/2012, and the account was settled in 05/It is completely unacceptable for them to turn this over to collections, and for it to negatively impact my credit historyI have received NO notice of an attempt to collect a debt from O’Brien Wexler prior to 12/05/ [redacted] states they do not show a negative account for me [redacted] states they have asked their client, O’Brien Wexler & Assoc, to provide more informationThey have not stated when they acquire

I received a called from this Obrien and Wexler this morningI think he said his name was Joe somethingSaid he was the Pre-Legal Directorgave me a case number and said it involved my social security number Wanted to ask me some questions, before he send this over for ProcessingWould no tell me what it was about I am not sure why they are callingBut it would be nice to know whyIf it is for a Medical Bill, then just send me the proper paper work and I will get it resolvedYou do not need to tell me that you have a case against my social security number and just lie to me
I was contacted by them about a Time-Barred DebtI replied and a lady answered and I told her that this debt was a Time-Barred Debt they bought this old debt and they needed to stop calling and sending lettersI then had that lady curse me out and yell at me and threaten me so I hung upI called back and got another person and asked if they were going to yell at me tooHe said what can I do for youI told him the same thing as the lady and told him I'd be happy to give him my lawyer's numberHe got nasty and said oh you have a lawyer on speed dial do youI said actually I do he's my cousinThe man rudely replied oh cousin hu? I said yes I'm Jewish I have many lawyers in my family here is his numberHe said I don't need it and hung up
My desired outcome it this organization be suedThey break the rules the Federal Trade Commission put in place by cursing, threading, and attacking people for Time-Barred DebtsPlease do something
This company bought a debt is that it does not belong to me and sold it to a collection agency the account that they opened against me I was a fraudulent account that was taken out by a payday loan company in the West Indies

This collection agency has contacted both my Husband's work He is a police officer They called the dispatch center and demanded he be contacted The radio room called him to advise him of this phone call The company then contacted his private cell phone This same company continues to call his year father at his residence
This evening, this company again called his private cellThey immediately stated they were taking him to court and that they would get him immediately fired from his job unless he paid this bill now I spoke with a gentleman named "Joe" I asked for a copy of the bill that they state is owed He refused and told me to just pay the billI told him I have a right to the copy of the bill He stated he mailed several already( this is the first I spoke with them ) This gentleman then hung up on me I called back and talked to a "Mike" who identified himself as the director of operations I again asked for the copy of the bill in which could be em
I was initially contacted by this company regarding a debt I owed to Check Into Cash from They initially told me I was to pay $1,for a debt that was only $and if I did not pay it, they were going to send an officer to my home/place of work to arrest me and they would be filing felony charges against meI was terrified as I didn't know any better, so I paid $1,and thought that was the end of itI received a call from a separate collection agency, telling me I only had to pay $and if I paid anything over that, it was a scam or at least extremely shadyI contacted my bank and filed a fraud claim for the $1,charge and got my money backI then paid the ACTUAL amount of $to the other collection agencyToday, I open my credit report only to find that they have submitted my paid in full account to collectionsI'm tired of the harassment from this company and am considering filing a lawsuit against them for violating my rights

These people have obvious clerical issuesI made the contact, I agreed on the payment plan, and I provided the method of paymentA Mr Nelson calls me leaves me two messages about two separate payments and their Non Sufficient Funds on my behalf - I call back, ask to speak to his supervisor, he tells me he runs the firm IRP who collect for O’Brien Wexler and Associates and he proceeds to tell me how my funds must’ve not been available at 7/8amI then ask him if he knows how Visa credit cards are available 24/I here him punch some keys and then he says, “I just got word that your payment has gone through”These folks are inconsiderate, unprofessional, and rude
