Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Although I can now contact the company, since I was given a direct number, I still have issues with communicating with themOn 10/29/when the roofing crew were cleaning up the debris on the roof, they began blowing roofing nails, tarpaper and other garbage into my poolMy wife went to tell them that this was an in ground pool with a vinyl linerNone of the crew spoke English and did not understand what she was telling themI do not understand why no one on the crew spoke EnglishI had a solar panel on the roof and the insurance company put in the claim over $dollars for a plumber to disconnect and reconnect the panel I told the company I did not want it reconnected, I only wanted it disconnectedThe roofers, NOT A PLUMBER, cut the pipes and threw the panel into the garbage trailer, they cut the wires to the panel and bent pipes and wires back into the roof before replacing the wood that the pipes had went thruI had closed off the pipes at the Hot Water Heater, had I not, water would have poured into the ceiling area under where they cut the pipesAgain, we could not communicate this to the crew because of the language barrierThis panel is almost all copper and I dug it out of the trash to salvage what I couldMy concern is that when I said "do not reconnect it", the company assumed they could trash itThey did not ask if I was going to use it elsewhereThe crew seemed to not know what it was.Another representative from the company came out, and told my wife that she spoke some English and she would explain to them what to do My wife then saw the workers, later , using a long handled RAKE and a brush to try and clean the poolI will not know if there is damage until I clean the pool, which will take a few daysThey obviously still did not understand that the liner was vinyl and could be damagedI contacted "***" at the direct number and he said he would do what he could to make things right Until the issues have been resolved, I feel I can not accept the response I have received at this time.Regards, [redacted]

we sent out our [redacted] out to this customers house weeks agoHe met with the customer and took photosThe areas of concern are not related to the roofing work we performedThe issues are homeowner maintenance, and lack of caulking and paintingWe told this to the customerWe simply remove old roofing and install new roofing, that's itIf there is a leak from another part of the home then we recommend the customer address those concernsWe have received all of Mr [redacted] faxes at our office and we thought that the field visit had taken care of his concerns, we have no intention of ignoring the customer on purpose

Ms [redacted] is currently being sued by [redacted] , for non-payment of her roofing materials, she is being sued by North Florida Roofing & Repair for non-payment of labor, and she has had multiple liens placed against her property by [redacted] and North Florida Roofing & Repair I will have to forward this matter to my attorney, [redacted] for further commentWe do not discuss matters that are actively being litigated

I called the customer and spoke to himEverything is fine, I explained that we are not a scam company, we just need to work on our communication skillsWe are installing his roof this weekHe was appreciative, I also gave him my personal cell phone number in case he needs to reach out to me for anything

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: There is one lien on my property, not multiple liens, by *** distribution because North Florida Roofing failed to pay them for the materials used on my houseAs of 10/16/North Florida Roofing has not put a lien on my property or filed suit for non paymentAs a side note North Florida Roofing received a check from me for $that was cashed before the work was started on the houseThere is a reason North Florida Roofing did not place a lien on my property because they have no standing to do soAt this point they owe me more in the damage done to my house and other fees I have incurred that what would have been the final payment.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This is the first time I have seen this form I have the original form at my house that was left on the porch by the inspector Although I was told that they wanted this issue rectified, this company has not contacted me since I reached out to the Revdex.comThis company have left the contracted work undone since January The work inside the house as well as the work outside of the house is incomplete The contract *** was contacted on the same day I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com because I had a threatening message that the *** told his *** to leave on my voicemail to put a lien on my property This *** have not tried to contact me concerning the work on my home or any issues that I may have After speaking with the contract ***, he and I agreed on a time the next morning for him to come and look at the unfinished work I specifically told him that I needed to leave my house at 8:30am He said he'd be there at 8:00am I know things happen, but I had no call or anything concerning him being late I walked out of my house on my way to work at 8:30am and he was just getting out of the carWe talked a little about my concerns and every time I have talked to him, he has promised to send receipts of the wood they have claimed to pay $on and the inspection conformation of it being in a passed status There have been absolutely no attempts to complete the work that was promised to be completedThis work is done through my insurance company ***I have taken a number of days off with no pay while they were supposed to be doing the work Some days the contractor never showed and when he and the roofers showed they used my power I was told that they would use a generator to complete the work I have all text messages, emails, photos, phone messages, etcof this communication This company only wants money for work that was not done and its not fair to meI still have a hole in my ceiling in my family room and raw wood that was put on my house that is not right or neither have it been painted They left it so badly that more birds are now going through the neglected spaces that was left on the eaves/hangings of my home into my atticI trusted this company After the first check was paid to them, most communication was done through the *** that never had any knowledge of what I was speaking aboutI don't like the fact that they tried to threaten and pressure me into paying a remaining balance on work that was not done as promised Not only that, that they would tell me wood was $after they have called themselves purchasing it....not before, and still hasn't produced a receiptThere are two types of wood used on my roof and I still have the scan code from the wood and it doesn't add up Thank you for your time in helping me with this matter, my insurance company suggested that I reach out to your company, the Revdex.com

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: The visible wood root is beneath where roofing joins the chimney North Florida Roofing and Repair failed to install new flashing or did not install flashing at all where roof joins chimney resulting in water leaks from water run-off There is probably more wood damage than can be seen with naked eye This is not a maintenance or paint issue but rather is: North Florida Roofing did properly install the roof for which they were paid $14, The work done by North Florida Roofing is open for inspection They provided a year warranty for laborI demand they honor their contract Regards,

Company's response below:From: *** *** ***Date: Fri, Dec 16, at 1:PMSubject: *** * *** * *** *** ** ** *** ** ***To* ***This customer had a $2,insurance deductible and $4,in non recoverable depreciation from their
insurance claim which means they needed to pay $7,out of pocket to complete their insurance claim*** and his *** came to our office, we were able to provide tab shingles vs Architectural shingles to reduce the price of their buildWith the tab materials we were able to reduce their total out of pocket to $2,saving them over $on the cost of the build.Build has been completed and we are still waiting to be paid for our work

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: our insurance agent claims they never
received an estimateIt is not professional on the part of North Florida Roofing to claim they sent the estimate AFTER we terminated the contractFor that I wish them the best, but will not pay more than $150.00, as I have stated previously

The roof on this house passed final inspection from the city of [redacted] on February 6th, 2017. Document has been uploaded. Since that time we have attempted to contact the home[redacted] over 25 times to schedule a time correct the damage from one of the roofers stepping through down into a bedroom....

We have the ability to work around her schedule to get someone on site to fix the problem but up until now she has been unresponsive. This has continued to drag out, we want to finalize the work and get paid for the job.

Complaint: 10872146
I am rejecting this response because: Although I can now contact the company, since I was given a direct number, I still have issues with communicating with them. On 10/29/2015 when the roofing crew were cleaning up the debris on the roof, they began blowing roofing nails, tarpaper and other garbage into my pool. My wife went to tell them that this was an in ground pool with a vinyl liner. None of the crew spoke English and did not understand what she was telling them. I do not understand why no one on the crew spoke English. I had a solar panel on the roof and the insurance company put in the claim over $400 dollars for a plumber to disconnect and reconnect the panel . I told the company I did not want it reconnected, I only wanted it disconnected. The roofers, NOT A PLUMBER, cut the pipes and threw the panel into the garbage trailer, they cut the wires to the panel and bent pipes and wires back into the roof before replacing the wood that the pipes had went thru. I had closed off the pipes at the Hot Water Heater, had I not, water would have poured into the ceiling area under where they cut the pipes. Again, we could not communicate this to the crew because of the language barrier. This panel is almost all copper and I dug it out of the trash to salvage what I could. My concern is that when I said "do not reconnect it", the company assumed they could trash it. They did not ask if I was going to use it elsewhere. The crew seemed to not know what it was.Another representative from the company came out, and told my wife that she spoke some English and she would explain to them what to do.  My wife then saw the workers, later , using a long handled RAKE and a brush to try and clean the pool. I will not know if there is damage until I clean the pool, which will take a few days. They obviously still did not understand that the liner was vinyl and could be damaged. I contacted "[redacted]" at the direct number and he said he would do what he could to make things right.  Until the issues have been resolved, I feel I can not accept the response I have received at this time.Regards,
[redacted]

We can mail a copy of the certificate of completion or it can be accessed online through the city of [redacted] building department. This is not an accept or denial situation it's a fact the roof has passed final inspection from the city. Any additional openings or gaps in the house are caused by the current conition of the house and not the roof. If this was not the case the roof would not have passed a mid and final inspection from the city. As listed in the other letter we are prepared to meet with the home[redacted] anytime to finalize the work we need to do on the inside of the house. We also will meet with the home[redacted] to discuss the roof or any parts of the roof. We are looking to finalize this as soon as possible so we can move on to the next build. I've attached images of the wood damage on the roof, we have more of those showing the replacement of wood.

I called the customer and spoke to him. Everything is fine, I explained that we are not a scam company, we just need to work on our communication skills. We are installing his roof this week. He was appreciative, I also gave him my personal cell phone number in case he needs to reach out to me for...

anything.

[redacted]Good afternoon, I wanted to give you an update of this complaint. The previous owner [redacted] Fries, went to the customer’s property to check...

the leak and fix it but then, when he did the inspection of were the leaks was, he notices that the leak is coming from a roof that the company didn’t replaced, we didn’t do the back porch. The company didn’t touch that area and the customer has some kind of corrugated plastic material. The situation was explain to him and he is satisfied. Thank you [redacted]

We have ordered a satellite image of this house and also created an estimate for the insurance company to go off of when approving this home.We would take $750 to settle this open work.
