Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My Response is: As the attached photos show, this vehicle has clearly been stored outside, under trees, and neglected.Lie – Car is kept in garage most of the year(See Photo) Reason for leaves is that like you know it’s FALL again here for this car for years and in late November I usually have bags of packed leaves so the leaves you are showing is the result of leaves being blown around/under the car which can get up under the carIf anything your first rate crew clogged the car with your crap (remember you had the soft top hood off and put back on)If neglected (had for years and took very good care of), then why take my money to fix something that you could not fix? The manager said my wife insulted him and he refuses to fix itWow, you are so arrogant and naïve to think this [redacted] was going to make me go awayThe real answer is that you know you screwed up and you are just trying to weasel out of your legal responsibility because more than likely the repair cost to fix your negligence will cost more than what we originally paid The reason we were recommended to the customer by another shop is because other local shops all know we have a great reputation as well as the experience, software, and tooling needed to perform the work other shops cannotAgain we are years in business, with zero complaints to Revdex.com or any other source No, I believe you and Jamesport Auto were in collusion with each otherI will not be going back to Jamesport Auto after they recommended you that is for sureNot only did you create a bad reputation for yourself but for them also, but you don’t care Well, you got one nowWelcome to the age of computersFinally, with agencies like the Revdex.com the little guy has some power when they get screwed by a vendor like youTo prove my point, it took you about a month to respond to this because you realized that you better Again we are years in business, with zero complaints to Revdex.com or any other source Customer is trying to get us to fix issue caused by prolonged vehicle neglect, not by our shop, for freeYeah, that was my plan all alongLet’s recap my plan for free service from your crappy service company: Paid you $1,to repair a car working/running well (had just passed inspection) that worth around $8,– Had to wake up to sounds of my car in GARAGE like it was going to explode - Had to deal with your hang up and your shop manager insults when asking you stand by your work You hung up on my wife (who was so upset that she could not even park near you shop when I first dropped the car off) Left my car in front of your shop only because you agreed to look and repair it (jerking me around) My car sat in your parking lot for days DEAD not even looked at but moved away from shop I had to then pick up my car which was dead and spend more money to move it I had to write the Revdex.com about this mess hoping that you work just fix the car and none of this would have happened but because you guys are crooks and think that this will go away if I just don’t respond to anyoneI have a dead car in my GARAGE to which I will have to pay more money to get it fixed all because you did not fix my car but broke it and refuse to take responsibility for itNow that is a great plan – for pain!! Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My Response is:1.     As the attached photos show, this vehicle has clearly been stored outside, under trees, and neglected.Lie – Car is kept in garage most of the year. (See Photo) Reason for leaves is that like you know it’s FALL again here for this car for 17 years and in late November I usually have 40 bags of packed leaves so the leaves you are showing is the result of leaves being blown around/under the car which can get up under the car. If anything your first rate crew clogged the car with your crap (remember you had the soft top hood off and put back on). If neglected (had for 17 years and took very good care of), then why take my money to fix something that you could not fix? These photos prove nothing but your negligence. If a couple of leaves can break a car, then I guess more than 50% of cars are currently unrepairable. Sure, nice try. Also, take note of picture of where car was parked when I bought it in thinking that these clowns were going to have pride and do their job. When I went to pick up the car check out where they parked it (See Photo) – away from the shop. Nothing says HONESTY like this.[redacted]2.    Photos show a cracked rear plastic windshield that has been poorly repaired by someone with silicone, and drains that are completely clogged with organic debris that has accumulated over a very long time and turned to soil.  You can also see imprints of fallen leaves in the paint of the vehicle exterior, as well as the overall faded and poor condition of the paint.  We have over 20 photos of this vehicle that demonstrate the neglect of it.  I did the seal myself because it was raining outside the day I called and your manager told me to not put the car outside your shop the next day so I had no choice but to seal the window with a cheap glue THAT CAN BE TAKEN OFF WITH HEAT AND A SCAPER. I had this car for 17 years without a hitch and I bring it to these crooks and they robbed me out of $1,800.00 and my car is a mess because of THEM. Let’s see those other photos you got. Maybe, I have a bottle of soda on the front seat that can prove my negligence. You are funny. 3.     If the customer were not incredibly rude and had avoided insults and profanity when calling us we would have helped them solve the water issue that had nothing to do with the prior work done here.   I’m rude?? We (need I mention we are the customer) paid them $1,800 and this joker hung up on my wife who never ever argues with anyone because she wanted our car fixed from the crappy work these clowns did. The only reason she was on the phone with you was because she wasn’t going to argue with you. I would have initially screamed at you for breaking our car. Then the clown who hung up on my wife refuses to speak to me. I then get into a yelling match with the manager who calls me names and threatened me. Question: Is the A/C working today? The one thing you are holding your hat too as if this makes you validated for this crime of work you did. Answer: NO!!! You did not even fix the one thing you claimed to warrant. While YOU NEVER CHECKED THE CAR for due diligence for your negligent work. What about the other work performed? Like the stuff that created this problem; the soft top not being put on probably. 4.     Glad to hear the vehicle is garaged now, it should have been all along.  Convertibles do not age well when left out in the elements. Now this is funny. Hold on, I had to get up off the floor from laughing so hard at this ** attempt to sound sincere. The manager told me directly that his boss (YOU) is NOT going to fix my car. I asked why? The manager said my wife insulted him and he refuses to fix it. Wow, you are so arrogant and naïve to think this ** was going to make me go away. The real answer is that you know you screwed up and you are just trying to weasel out of your legal responsibility because more than likely the repair cost to fix your negligence will cost more than what we originally paid.    5.     The reason we were recommended to the customer by another shop is because other local shops all know we have a great reputation as well as the experience, software, and tooling needed to perform the work other shops cannot. Again we are 20 years in business, with zero complaints to Revdex.com or any other source.   No, I believe you and Jamesport Auto were in collusion with each other. I will not be going back to Jamesport Auto after they recommended you that is for sure. Not only did you create a bad reputation for yourself but for them also, but you don’t care.  Well, you got one now. Welcome to the age of computers. Finally, with agencies like the Revdex.com the little guy has some power when they get screwed by a vendor like you. To prove my point, it took you about a month to respond to this because you realized that you better. 6.     Again we are 20 years in business, with zero complaints to Revdex.com or any other source.  Customer is trying to get us to fix issue caused by prolonged vehicle neglect, not by our shop, for free. Yeah, that was my plan all along. Let’s recap my plan for free service from your crappy service company: 1. Paid you $1,800 to repair a car working/running well (had just passed inspection) that worth around $8,000 – Had to wake up to sounds of my car in GARAGE like it was going to explode - Had to deal with your hang up and your shop manager insults when asking you stand by your work 2. You hung up on my wife (who was so upset that she could not even park near you shop when I first dropped the car off) 3. Left my car in front of your shop only because you agreed to look and repair it (jerking me around) 4. My car sat in your parking lot for 10 days DEAD not even looked at but moved away from shop 5. I had to then pick up my car which was dead and spend more money to move it 6. I had to write the Revdex.com about this mess hoping that you work just fix the car and none of this would have happened but because you guys are crooks and think that this will go away if I just don’t respond to anyone. 7. I have a dead car in my GARAGE to which I will have to pay more money to get it fixed all because you did not fix my car but broke it and refuse to take responsibility for it. Now that is a great plan – for pain!!   Here is what I propose to end this complaint and let the Revdex.com close this case as resolved: (Pick one) 1.     I want a full refund of all monies paid to you. Around $18002.     Or, I will bring the car to another auto repair shop or dealer and get the breaks checked, the soft top resealed, the a/c repaired, the electrical system repaired, the horn fixed, and the front truck opening again, then I will send to you for payment.  When paid, I will remove this complaint, I will not take you to court, and I will remove any reviews I wrote. I will never let you touch my car again unless ordered by a judge. You had 10 days to make this situation right and you failed. So here is your last chance to correct this wrong.

We have a 20-year track record as a reputable local business that stands behind our work, and have never received a Revdex.com complaint in that time. This couple was rude and threatening from the moment they called, using insults and threats to make their complaint. As a result we had no interest in doing...

any additional work to their vehicle not pertaining to what we warrantied. They store this vehicle outside and the rear convertible top windshield, which is plastic, has a large crack that had been recently siliconed. The work we did in August, 2016 has absolutely nothing to do with water getting inside the vehicle. (We have photos of the cracked plastic windshield, as well as the completely clogged rear trunk drains, likely due to accumulation of debris from vehicle being kept outside, but are unable to submit them here to support our statements.)12/**/16: Wife called, aggressively accusing shop of issues they have been experiencing with vehicle, including windows randomly opening when vehicle is off and loud noises while engine not running. Said vehicle has been flooded with water from rain. Owner answered call and after a few minutes of wife berating him and owner being unable to get a word in, owner told her he would have to end the call since she wouldn't allow him to speak.12/**/16: Husband called back shortly after owner ended call with wife. Shop manager answered husband's call. Husband told shop manager to let owner know he would be suing the shop and also that he was an influential travel writer in the community and would make sure to let people know about his experience with our shop. After a few minutes of this same rhetoric, shop manager again offered to look at the potential issue with the AC system, since that was something we had worked on and was still under the warranty the shop offers on all of it's work (12 months/12,000 miles parts and labor). Husband agreed and wanted to bring the vehicle over immediately that day. Shop manager noted that it was currently raining and not advisable for a car with a potential water leak.12/**/16: Vehicle dropped off at 9:50am. Unidentified noise coming from front right side of vehicle while engine off and key removed. Plastic rear convertible top window observed to be cracked and repaired with clear silicone. 12/**/16: Unable to open hood of vehicle. Shop manager called husband and told him we are unable to open the hood and therefore cannot check the AC system as it's located under the hood. Shop manager told him we would not look into diagnosing the hood problem but that if he could get the hood open by another method we would certainly look over the AC system. Husband told shop manager he would try to find a way.12/**/16: Husband called demanding to know if we would fix the car. Shop manager reminded him that we only offered to look at the AC system regarding the previous work we did and that we couldn't do that if the hood wouldn't open. He asked again and shop manager explained owner wouldn't do any additional work besides honoring the warranty on the previous work done due to the aggressive and insulting comments of his wife towards owner on the 12/** call. Husband then asked if owner was 'a [redacted]' and 'scared of a woman'. Shop manager reminded husband that when husband called he also threatened to sue the business and damage our reputation with his connections as a travel blog writer and that also didn't help . He concluded the call by saying, "Thanks a lot you [redacted]" and hung up.
