[redacted] we were surprised when he asked to return his new boat for a refund( The Switchblade is a very popular model). He mentioned his concerns and we offered to exchange the new black 2016 model frame for the old orange frame and exchange the pontoons if in fact there was any delamination which he indicated. We also offered an exchange for any boat in our extensive line of 65 models if he decided he did not want the Switchblade. He asked for a refund on the boat. It has been our longstanding policy that we do not allow refunds on sale items. He received his boat on a show season sale price which saved him hundreds of dollars. We have had to adhere to this policy because of abuse over the years from customers ordering a boat and using it for their week long vacation then sending it back for a refund. We were stuck with a used boat and would loose hundreds of dollars. It is this kind of abuse that has lead to our strict policy. After talking to Mr. [redacted] on 5/17/2016 I extended our sincere desire to make him a happy customer and even offered any boat in our line for 50% off of the sale price as a token of our sincere desire to work with him. He declined this offer so we sent him a refund check for the amount specified in his request.We feel that this is purely a case of buyers remorse and feel  bad that he didn't at least put the boat together and take it out for a day of fishing... He would have loved it. It is one of our most popular models and we sell hundreds of them each year to a lot of happy customers!
