The vehicle was a day late from our original Projected delivery dateThe vehicle was towed in with no appointmentThis is common after an accident, so that in no way affects how it gets handledThis occurred after one of the many snowfall events we had this winterThe car was here for 3-1/
weeks and had over 8k in damageThe car was handled in the order it came inThe vehicle owner from day did not understand that the vehicle was not going to go to the front of the lineI can understand that everyone wants to get their car back as quickly as possibleHowever, in all fairness they are handled in the order they arrivedEach time the vehicle owner called and did not hear what she wanted she would call back minutes later and demand to talk to a manager, and was very rude each timeThe car did not sit here and do nothing for weeks,There were parts to be ordered, structural repairs done and the car was painted all apartWe reassembled it, cleaned it, road tested it and delivered it back to the customer one day later than originally promisedI am sorry the customer feels the way she does, but to set the record straight no one here was rude in any way to herI listened to most of the phone calls the time the car was here and nobody at this facility talked down to her in any wayIf we tried to explain anything, we were just ignored

After my vehicle has already been towed there and taken apart is a little too late to be able to change my mind about having the repairs done else whereBut I understand you wouldn't want to discourage any businessHowever this information would have been very helpful in me making my decision where to bring my vehicle

I understand that there were other vehicle's being serviced at the same time. However I think that when I first called before my vehicle was towed there it would have been helpful for someone to say "Sure we will gladly accept your vehicle for repair, however there are X number of cars currently being repaired which could impact your repair times by X number of days. But I understand you wouldn't want to discourage any business. However this information would have been very helpful in me making my decision where to bring my vehicle.

Review: I mistakenly took my car to North Haven Auto Body to have repair work done after a minor fender bender. They gave an unreasonably long estimate of time to have the work done and then did not have the work completed within that time frame and extended it even longer. They were condescending when I tried several times to have the completed date pushed up due to the repairs being very minimal. They spoke to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. I have seen several other vehicles with similar amounts of damage being done in half the amount of time. I have also seen extensive rebuilding of an entire frame work of a truck being completed in almost the same time as it took them to work on my vehicle. I spoke with the manager to try to get my vehicle back by the date it was supposed to have been finished, he stated do to some of their staff calling out they could not accommodate this. My vehicle sat at their facility for several weeks with absolutely no work being done on it and despite my numerous attempts to have the work completed quicker. I was not able to get my vehicle back within a reasonable amount of time what so ever. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with a body shop.Desired Settlement: I would like North Haven Auto Body to provide me my vehicle back ASAP! Also issue a formal apology for the WORST service I have EVER received.

However, in all fairness they are handled in the order they arrived. Each time the vehicle owner called and did not hear what she wanted she would call back 10 minutes later and demand to talk to a manager, and was very rude each time. We reassembled it, cleaned it, road tested it and delivered it back to the customer one day later than originally promised. I am sorry the customer feels the way she does, but to set the record straight no one here was rude in any way to her. Review: I brought my 10-month old car, with low mileage, into the shop with the recommendation of my insurance company for minor body work: A ~50lb turkey flew into the side of my car on the highway, knocking out my side mirror and damaging my windows and door. The insurance company estimated the damage repair to take 4 days, and it was dropped off on Wednesday April 15th around 830 in the morning and I wasn't able to pick it up until Thursday April 23rd around the same time of the day, 8 days later.

The matter that they took extra long to finish taking care of my car, running my car-rental bill a couple hundred dollars, could be dismissed. What can't be dismissed is that when I picked my car up from the shop, the clutch was overwhelmingly misused. As previously mentioned, my car wasn't a year old when I brought it in for minor body work. When I felt the difference in clutch, I took it to my dealer to have it analyzed. The dealership technicians found the clutch to be at an abnormal range, barely still within spec, but would need to be replaced sooner than it should. I brought this to the attention of the manager and the owner and they both declined responsibility.

My new car now performs like a car with 150,000 miles because of the inept mechanics at this auto shop. They damaged it, and now I will have to replace the expensive clutch (which is outside of my warranty) within a couple of years.Desired Settlement: Obviously this was caused by the ineptitude of those at the shop, so my only request is that they take responsibility for their damage to my car and a refund for the job they performed on it. The price of the job they performed is close to the cost of a new clutch put in by my dealership, so it should be a fair deal. In no way do I accept the work to be done at North Haven Auto Shop. I do not want these people near my car with the fear that something else will happen to it.
