Dear [redacted],
Today I received a notice of a complaint with the ID# of 1[redacted]. Today is the first notice I received, I certainly would have replied immediately.
[redacted] signed silver on going contract with North...
Haven Health & Racquet on 12/5/13. The membership contract states membership dues will continue until the member chooses to cancel the contract with a 30days written notice, which was not done. Ms. [redacted] stopped paying her dues as of July 2, 1014. Ms. [redacted] states she was not notified of her past dues. Ms. [redacted] was sent letters on 7/9/14, 7/23/14, 8/22/14, 9/9/14, 9/23/14, 10/23/14 and phone calls were made on 7/17/14 message left, 8/6/14 message left, 8/29/14 message left, 9/17/14 message left, 10/22/14 message left. The North Haven Health & Racquet or our billing company has not been contacted by Ms. [redacted] as of this date for any reason.
If you need a copy of her contract or the print out of the contact log from the North Haven Health & Racquet I can get that to you a.s.a.p. If there is any other info you will need, please feel free to contact me.

My problem with North Haven Health and Racquet club is their collection/billing practice. I had a membership at this gym and stopped attending in April, and I had to cancel my debit card due to separate reasons. They did not contact me to inform me my bill was going to collections, they simply sent it without informing me or simply cancelling the membership. If they are going to send a bill to collections they should have informed me first, as they have my available phone number. When the membership was finally cancelled in September, they noted on their accounts that I was informed of the charges when I was not as I did not come in nor did I receive a phone call. Ultimately, I should not be billed for services that I did not use. If I am to be billed, I should be informed before it goes to collections.Desired Settlement: I would like North Haven Health and Racquet to remove all charges as I have not utilized their services since April 2014.
