I have been a customer for over 25 yrs., back when we had newspaper delivery boys. They would put the paper on my landing by the door. As I got older and cannot go down stairs the paper is in the driveway where it sits until someone comes or I go out around the house where there are no steps. I called about this & for along time it was put by the door. Lately it is back in the driveway I called & was told it would be taken care of but no dice,I called again and was told it would be taken care of. Maybe it would have been if instead of using 'off shore' people they would have fix the problem instead of repeating everything I said. It seems the more we pay for a subscription the less we get.

Review: We placed a home for sale ad in this NJ newspaper on 9/29/15 and was scheduled to appear in the 'Out of State' home section. The ad was clearly placed in the incorrect section - a home for sale in NJ. We have sent numerous emails and placed numerous calls to rectify their error. They 'promised' on numerous emails to refund $367.13 to our [redacted] Bank account. On 10/26/15, Kerry R[redacted] from the newspaper emailed us and stated 'The credit should be refunded to your account by the end of the week'. Again, as of 10/30/15 the refund was not deposited into our account. Ms. R[redacted] also emailed us on 10/22/15 stating 'The credit was written and is being processed – I’ll try to find out where it is. '. We respectfully request that the Revdex.com assist us on this matter. We have copies of all emails as well as a copy of the newspaper showing the ad was incorrectly placed. Thank you!Desired Settlement: We placed a home for sale ad in this NJ newspaper on 9/29/15 and was scheduled to appear in the 'Out of State' home section. Regards,

Review: I subscribed to the paper iin november paid in full was to end in Feb they constantly call and ask if I want to continue told them no they have dropped off paper intermittantly. I thought to get me to continue now they are calling and harrassing me to pay because I didn't call and cancel if I paid up front for the term why should I call and cancel? I tell them no when they call which is every other day, annoying I paid for services I wanted to receive and thats it, I have to recycle all this paper I don't read, I only wanted it thru the holidays anyway. I watch the news and don't need the paper. The fact is I don't feel I should have to pay for a product I did not ask for, as they say we thought people would get upset when it's not there so we continue, that's not my problem you took it upon yourselves and I want the harrassment stopped with the calls.Desired Settlement: phone calls stopped and no payment warranted

Review: I paid for a weekend newspaper subscription back in November. I was told it would take up to a week for the newspaper to start being delivered. After patiently waiting over a month, I realized there was a problem. Tried calling the number on my receipt and had no luck [redacted]. After looking up an alternate number, I was able to reach someone from the headquarters. They said it was en error and that I should be getting the paper soon. Only received one paper! The next week I called and reported that the newspaper wasn't being delivered. They said the would let the driver know..... Long story short, they have charged me for 4 months of service they have not provided. If they can go as far as charging my card they should be able to provide a service.Desired Settlement: I need for them to stop charging my card until they provide me with 4 months of service they already charged me for.

Regards,

Review: In late May 2015 I requested that my subscription to the [redacted] be stopped at the end of my billing period. I noticed this morning that I was billed on 6/29 for another month.I called the cancellation department this morning. The person I spoke to could not no record that I had a subscription. I was told that neither my phone number or address were on file. I was directed to fax in a copy of my bank statement to prove that I was billed. I do not have a fax and requested a phone number or email address so that I might communicate with someone who could assist me. I was told that I had to either fax in the information or send it via USPO. The person would also not refer me to another person who might be able to help me. I was told to call back.I then called the phone number that shows up on my [redacted] account drop down menu on the billing charge. That number was for a law firm. FYI the information listed on my [redacted] account drop down menu is as follows: Transaction date 6/29/15Posting date: 6/30/15The system will not allow me to enter in the phone number or the zip code indicated on my [redacted] statement. It recognizes it as a SS numbCharge: $25.60Desired Settlement: I would 1) that my subscription to the [redacted] be discontinued immediately, and 2) that the subscription fee of $25.60 refunded immediately.
