The customer purchased this vehicle on 10/4/with several modifications already done to the drive train and suspension These modifications were done prior to our dealership purchasing the truckIt should also be noted that prior to purchasing the the truck, Mr*** test drove it twice
without any complaints about the grinding noiseWe can provide copies of paperwork signed by the customer that he was aware the vehicle was being sold AS IS, with no warrantyHe also further declined to purchase any type of service contract that could have ultimately covered any possible repairs that may have come upHowever, in good faith, we agreed to help the customer with the cost of the repairs. Mr*** lives hours away from the our dealership and did not wish to have the repairs done by our service departmentWe even offered to have the vehicle towed here by a reputable tow company we use He declined thatWe estimated our cost of the parts and repairs to be approximately $We discussed the options with Mr***He said he understood we were not going to pay another shop's labor rate as our rate is only $per hour versus the $75-per hour he was being quoted, and retail prices for partsBecause he already had the vehicle at another shop, he agreed to accept the $towards the repairs as a GOOD WILL gesture on our part, knowing we were under no obligation at all to pay any part of itMr*** accepted our check, cashed it, and made no further complaints to us. Please also note we took a Ford Mustang in on trade from Mr*** that had to have all six converters replacedAt the time of trade, he insisted the car was in top mechanical shapeUpon further inspection, that was not the caseWe however, did not go back to Mr*** asking him to cover the cost of the repairs for a vehicle that was not what he promised it to be. It's unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] does not feel we have held up our end of the deal. However, in light of the fact the vehicle was sold 100% AS IS, there is nothing further we are able to do at this time. We feel the offer we made and the compensation already paid to Mr. [redacted] is satisfactory on our end. I am rejecting this response because:As that no and as that said the truck had problems on bottom side and that new that the truck had the front end problem before that sold it to me. And if you are not gonna tell the truth about my visit there I drove truck once and only down the road in back do to me not knowing my. where about because you're two hours away from me and when I discovered the noise was over 40 miles per hour and immediately I called and told north main motors and immediately they tried to dear my complaint and another direction. I was miss lead in buying this truck . and to you ppl for lyieing you did not offer to tow my truck only half way so there for how was I gonna get there I never refuse your guys in service and helpyou made it impossible for me to get the truck there when you agoing offering to tow halfway and with all of your fibs I could imagine how many people you guys do this to on a daily basis all I want is what's fair and correct on your part that truck should have not never been sold while it had the front differential needed to be cut down due to massive grindingfor you being a professional company stop trying to wiggle out of things and screwing people over do the right thing pay me the money and feel better about your guys stuff for doing the right thing instead of trying to screw people over to make a dollar.I'll be looking for a check in the mail for 240 dollars . thanks Mr [redacted]Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: I mike [redacted] was misinformed and pushed into the vehicle where I was unable to detect the problem until I hit above 40 miles per hour that new I really like the truck and took advantage of that. But karma has its way to get them
