we did get a call to come out to fix an old faucetWe put all the new necessary parts in that are still available to work on a faucet that oldWhen we were done it was working fine and no leaksOutside of what we did there is nothing else that can be doneUnfortunately there is only so much you can do for repairsWe have been in the faucet repair business for over years and have great experience in this field.? After that she asked what the options were and again unfortunately the only option left is to replace the faucetThis faucet is behind the wall which does require opening the wall to change it outThere is no other waySo replacing "all" the plumbing is just replacing the valveThere will be wall repair that will have to be done but again there is no other way to do thisOur policy on faucet repairs is we cant warranty repair work on old faucetsWe use our years of experience to do the best we canThere is no way we can say how long a repair will last on old faucet repairs eitherAs far? as a refund we still have to perform the work, shut the water off and pull things apart to fixThis? I am sure you understand takes time and we still? charge for this.? Just as an auto mechanic charges to find out what the problem is (diagnostic fees?) before they do any work at allThere for we are not inclined to give a refund for the work we didWe can how ever offer a discount? if the customer would like to apply that towards the replacing of the faucet?
