DON'T DO IT!! I dropped a one a kind handmade purse off to have the zipper redone. They told me it would take a week to repair. After a week an a half I did not received a call so I called them. I was told "zippers were on back order and it would be another week or so". I waited another three weeks to call back and follow up. I was told the purse was ready and I could come in. I came into the shop(45 minutes away from where I live) to get the purse and they brought out someone else's purse. When I told them it wasn't my purse the owner said she made a mistake and they couldn't find the purse. I was told they would find it and make sure it was fixed and that they had some issues in the shop and sorry. I told them I needed it shipped to me when they got it because I did not live in the area. I was told they would do so. After a week I didn't receive the purse, called and asked and the following week I received it(so probably didn't send it when they said they would the first time.) I get the purse today and there is a big splotch of adhesive or something on the underside which RUINED the leather. I've never dealt with such unprofessionalism in my life! This is from Greece and a has a special meaning to me and now it is RUINED. All for just needing a new zipper. It's a [redacted] shame. Don't bring anything here!","neg-1

Failed to offer a refund after work completed on a handbag was completely shoddy and a month late. Said they would redo the work, but not refund.I took my Longchamp purse here after the zipper became undone. I brought it here on April 19. They were quite nice and promised to have it done in a week or so. I just got it back May 17. This is after several calls asking as to its status, in which they claimed to have no idea I had dropped off the purse and kept promising it would be done "in a week." After the final call, they agreed to mail it to me to apologize for it taking almost a month to complete (they did not, however, agree to discount the price or anything for the extreme inconvenience). I was annoyed, but fine as long as I got my purse back in working condition. Well, I got the purse back, but with by far the cheapest zipper they could have chosen (and probably chosen from [redacted] They attached the zipper backwards, messing with the general design of the purse when you hold it. I also asked they reattach the Longchamp charm, as a Longchamp without the charm pretty much takes away one of the key distinguishing features of the purse. It was attached to another keyring to the very long, cheap zipper pull that came with the cheap zipper. The zipper itself does not easily open and is actually quite hard to use in day-to-day life. Also, after 4 days of using the purse, the Longchamp charm came off as I was closing the purse (the purse was not full to the brim or anything like that): they had only hot glued it to the new zipper. All in all, I am INCREDIBLY unhappy with the work they did and especially how long it took them to give me such shoddy work. I should note that while I live in [redacted] my family lives in [redacted] and I thought taking my purse to a place in [redacted] would assure better customer service (as is my experience of [redacted] vs. [redacted] When I called for a refund (or a partial refund), I was told they "stand by their work" and would redo it. I tried to politely tell the owner that she could understand why I'm reluctant to believe they will improve on the second try and that they would actually get it back to me in the week she promised. I said I'd just like a refund. She kind of got an attitude and told me that was not possible and that they'd redo the work. Desired SettlementA refund, or partial refund, of the $45 charged to do the work. Business Response Contact Name and Title: North Ridge Shoe and LuggContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted].comCustomer brought in purse for daughter to repair zipper. We have a 1-10 day service turn around depending on jobs before and difficulty of repair. We called within a week to notify customer we could not repair original zipper. We offered to replace the whole zipper. A week went by before we received the okay. We then had to order a zipper from our supplier for replacement. We can not order an exact replacement zipper. We always tell the customers that repairs are not like the original manufacturer and the replacement parts will not be the same. We try to match the closest available parts we can. Brand name items have custom made parts in order to be different from other brand names and to discourage repairs so loyal customers dispose damage items and buy new at retail. We are a repair center not a manufacturer. When we received the complaint call from customer we offered to as always stand behind our work and satisfy the customer to the best of our ability and redo the repair. We do not refund repairs. Remember the purse was damaged and unfunctional when the request to repair was made. We have signage that states: "We cannot guarantee that all shoerepair/ accessory repair/ alteration request/will meet products original condition/ aesthetic. There are NO REFUNDS on any/ all repairs, cleaning/ dying/ stretching, etc. ALL PROCEDURES ARE FINAL SALE. We appreciate your business and strive to give you quality workmanship." We offered to please the customer by arranging to fix the repair. Customer refused. We provide all customers with signage and info about repair procedures and outcomes. I am so sorry she was dissatisfied as we receive so many referrals everyday and hope to please every customer.

Merchant mislead me about repairs, refuses to return my money, and two pairs of shoes.Sept. 22 and 26, 2015 merchant [redacted] examined, and pre-charged for specific repairs he said they could do- one pair of [redacted] boots, one [redacted] carry-on luggage, and two pairs of shoes. $110.79 was charged on my credit card with the expectation the work would take two weeks or less.He said the [redacted] boots would look, "good as new."On or about Oct. 6, I telephoned because we heard nothing back from the merchant. On or about Oct. 9, merchant, [redacted]. left a telephone message that everything would be ready for pickup, after 2pm on Tuesday, Oct. 13.On Oct. 13, after a 30 mile roundtrip to the merchant, they returned the [redacted] luggage with color mismatched screws that protruded way too long, returned the [redacted] boots saying they could not fix them, and could not find either pair of shoes.[redacted] SAID NOTHING IN HIS PHONE MESSAGE ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO REPAIR THE [redacted] BOOTS. IT LOOKED LIKE THEY FORGOT ABOUT THE BOOTS AND NEVER TRIED.... IT WAS A SIMPLE REPAIR AND THE BOOTS WERE NOT IN BAD SHAPE.Finally, another employee, [redacted], issued a $26 refund for the [redacted] boot repairs not done. They said they had a new employee and would call when they found the two pair of shoes. A $14.95 "HEELS SHINE" CHARGE WAS NOT REFUNDED.No call ever came from Merchant. NO ONE MADE ANY EFFORT TO CONTACT US OR REFUND FROM MID OCTOBER, 2015 UNTIL I WROTE A LETTER IN MID-JANUARY, 2016.I wrote a letter dated Jan. 14, 2016 requesting a refund of $84.79 ($119.79-$26 refunded) and $35 restitution for the two pairs lost. ($119.79 TOTAL)Merchant, [redacted] called Jan. 23 and he said we did not lose your shoes and he would mail them by UPS and we would receive them by mid-week (Jan. 27, 2016).WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SHOES, OR ANY REFUND OR RESTITUTION, OR COMMUNICATION FROM MERCHANT, NOW IT IS FEBRUARY 13.The only thing done was the [redacted] Bag repair ($39.95), the screws look like standard hardware store screws, that do not match and are not cut to size, they protrude way out and create a scratching hazard. In fairness, for misrepresentation, holding our cash, shoes, etc. for 5 months, making a wasted 30 mile trip, we request $119.79 back, or deduct $35 from that and return our 2 pairs of shoes!Thank you.Desired Settlement$119.79 or, return the two pairs of shoes and deduct $35.00

On 9 April 16, I dropped off a purse for repairs. I was told the purse will be ready in 6 weeks, 3 months later, the purse isn't ready. On 9 April 16, I dropped off a purse for repairs. I was told the purse will be ready in 6 weeks; 3 months later, the purse isn't ready. Often, my phone calls remained ignored, and I keep receiving empty promises. I paid in advance for the work $150 + tax), but they aren't holding their end of the deal. Drove over form Sanford once, but the bag wasn't ready after I was promised it will be. Yesterday, 4 June 2016, I was told it will be ready by 3 pm, but I received a phone call stating otherwise. I was also told it will be ready later on that day, but that wasn't the case either. My phone calls were being ignored, and I never received my purse. I was also told in 8 different occasions that, "the purse will be ready next week" or "it will be ready tomorrow." This company has the worst costumer service I've ever had to deal with. Extremely unprofessional, and very disorganized. I really want my designer purse back/ with repairs ASAP.Desired SettlementI would get to get my purse back/with repairs and my money be refunded ($150 + tax) for having to wait for so long. A costumer shouldn't have to go trough this headache with ANY business. Need the purse to be done no later than 10 June 2016.

Do not use this place. There service would be 0 stars if possible. I dropped off a leather Coach duffle bag for a zipper repair. I was quoted on a 2 week turnaround on June 24th. I thought that 2 weeks for a zipper replacement was a bit lengthy but I left my bag there. Well 2 weeks came and went no word from the store on the status of my bag. I called on July 25th to check the status and I was told the person working in the store only dealt with the shoe repair section and that my bag was sent out for repair and wasn't in the store. I was told that by the end of business on the 25th I would be contacted by the luggage repair department about my bag's repair status. Needless to say the 25th came and went with no communication from the store. I just called the store again today August 1st, same guy answered the call this time he said he was the owner and that he had forgotten to call me back for a week aka the repair wasn't complete yet and customers don't matter once they have your money. The owner got an attitude and began to raise his voice as if I was disturbing him from reipoing other peolle off. I told the owner that the service was poor and he gave me an excuse that they had been so busy and putting a zipper on a bag was labor intensive. I asked well what about informing the customer about the status of there property. The owner replied that my bag would be ready August 2nd after 12:00 aka my bag still isn't in the store. In conclusion go to [redacted] unless you liked being jerked around and overpay for terrible service.","pos-1
