All homeowner policies are approved by the Texas Department of Insurance and are considered to be “easy reading” by the average homeowner. The Foremost policy sold to Mr*** did not offer replacement cost coverage as an option because it was a
secondary (Lake House) residence. Instead, actual cash value coverage was included on his personal property. Replacement cost coverage is not offered due to higher vacancy days during the year as a lake house and higher risk of break-ins. We always offer replacement cost coverage when it is available.
