I am a white male in excellent health, run marathons, workout daily, not a person who has any major health issues The only medicine I take I is [redacted] for [redacted] So I went to see DrBabey at North Scottsdale Family Medicine (NSFM) to get my prescription filled, which he did but for Only months, which I did not realize until my pharmacy informed me of this Now this is the first doctor in years who has required me to come back in just days to refill a prescription The reason being is that they can charge you another $for an appointment In fact NSFM wanted me to come in every 3-months to get the prescription refilled Resulting in $to $in additional revenue for themNSFM is a "Churn to Earn" practice! I want to share with you my refill experience with DrBabey First of all the staff seems grumpy and rudeI arrived early for my appointment and the first thing they ask for is money upfront for your co pay, apparently they don't trust you for the $ I waited in the waiting room for minutes or minutes past appointment until brought back to see the doctor DrBabey spent approximately minutes with me, never asked me anything, but only told me they were going to take blood for lab tests [redacted] ***, I was completely unaware they were going to lab tests as I did not fast, [redacted] He escorted me back to the lab area where I waited until it was approximately minutes into my office visit I left before the test because I had another appointment Later I called NSFM to voice my complaints about service and unacceptable treatment practices I was surprised that DrBabey would not call his patient back but instead had one of the office patsies make the call Although DrBabey never really asks you much but TELLS you what you need and how much he will charge you for it The business patsie called me back about my complaint and was VERY rude and combative Now I used to be a [redacted] for a large healthcare company so I do know a little bit about healthcare customer service, and this person has no clue what that means I requested a refund for the $in charges since no service was rendered and they refused It did not cost them anything to not charge me since there was nothing done I expected to have my prescription filled but came away with nothing but aggravation and being ripped off! They said I was too demanding!! I guess asking for the service to be performed they consider demanding Talking with other doctors about NSFM not refunding my fee, they were very surprised as they would have done so without a problem I will probably have to go to court and have the judge decide wether NSFM provided any service to me I certainly did not get what I paid for In summary NSFM IS A "CHURN TO EARN" practice with very poor service, rude employees and more concerned about profits than patient experience I wish I would have read Yelp reviews on NSFM before I went there, the reviews are terrible and now I know why

In fact NSFM wanted me to come in every 3-6 months to get the prescription refilled. Resulting in $150 to $450 in additional revenue for them. NSFM is a "Churn to Earn" practice!

Although Dr. Babey never really asks you much but TELLS you what you need and how much he will charge you for it.

home and did some repairs herself. On 2-18-14. she returned with other problems. At this time we did some repairs, replaced the carburator gasket and adjusted the timing. We noticed that the timing was off again, as either she did this herself or had another shop work on it She did tell us that another shop has worked on her vehicle prior to us and during our repairs and diagnostics. After this last repair, we marked certain settings and adjustments with tamper proof paint, and each time the vehicle came in, it was tampered with.On 3-05-2014, the vehicle came back in not running right. We diagnosed the ignition coil had shorted out. We replaced the coil and the vehicle ran well. We didn't hear back from her until April 2014, claiming that everything we did on her vehicle caused other parts to fail and she had to spend an additional amount of money for parts and repairs elsewhere. I explained to her that this is a 1968 Buick, and parts fail, plus she has worked on it herself as well as another shop. Each time we worked on this vehicle, somebody else had there hands in it afterwards.I did offer her a refund of services provided by us, in good faith, but she then swore at me on the phone and threatened to come down to my shop and "embarrass me"?  I'm not sure what she meant by this. I concluded the phone call at that time. She didn't agree with my offer so I did not issue one. Review: My issue is with my outstanding balance. I had a routine doctor visit in 04/2014 and the bill came to $385.00 It should have been covered by my insurance, but unfortunately my company has since shut down it operations and there is no way at the present time to even get insurance information from them. In addition, I find myself out of work with this rather large doctor visit bill. As you can imagine, I am not trying to find a new job and deal with outstanding debts such as this one. To date I have written three letters asking for any information of any plans they may have for people having financial difficulties. I was hoping they had some plan in place as a lot of medial providers do for people who have loss their job and have zero sources of income. However, instead of receiving any response to any of my letters, all I have received is copies of statements. I also mentioned in the letter that it was likely my cell phone would no longer be working due to my financial situation so they should respond via US Mail. Like I said, I have gotten no response and would really like to know if they have some way of helping me.Desired Settlement: Would like to know if they can help me with this bill in any way given my dire financial situation.
