I received a call from this company about years ago while I was at workThey stated that if I answered their survey questions that I would receive a gift cardI answered their questions and the woman stated that I would receive magazines for free as long I would pay for shipping plus the gift cardSounded like a good deal and she assured me that the service would not renew without my approval and it would only be for year I have called many times to cancel the service and been told that I signed up for years and can not cancelNow I'm being billed $per month!
I was told when I signed up with this company that the billing would $for the first months the free for the remaining They charged me the $for months and now called and said it was renewing at $a month but they could change it to $I told them I wanted to cancel my subscription and they said I couldn'tI then said you were not even supposed to bill me for months and they proceeded to transfer me to the dispute officeHowever, that department is them hanging up the phone
Garden State Readers contacted me about buying magazines at a cheap rateThe rate seemed fair and our business needed magazines
I gave them a credit card # to pay billsAbout or months after we started, the credit card expired and we were issued a new one
Garden State Readers mailed me a bill in MarchI promptly paid it with a check, that they cashed
Then, we never heard from them againNo bills, no calls, nothingThe magazines pretty much stopped coming so it was assumed they cancelled our policy
Then months later we receive a collections bill from *** *** *** for $
A company can not send us zero bills, make no attempt to contact us, then send us to collections for an insane dollar amount
I request that they cancel our policy, remove the collections and not contact us again
In early sometime I received a call from Garden State readers magazines at my office offering some trial magazine subscriptions for the businessI advised them that I was not authorized to make decisions for the businessThe woman then asked me if I would like to try the subscription personally to be delivered to the businessI agreed and consulted to having my card charged for continued subscriptions until cancelledI left that office on January 22nd I called Garden State readers to have my subscription cancelled shortly after I left my office job and was told that I "can't"cancelNot understanding being told that I "can't" cancel, I advised her that I no longer work there and aside from that was being sent tons of magazines that I did not even request and was not receiving the ones that I HAD requested during the initial phone callThe woman absolutely refused to cancel my subscription with no explanation except simply repeating that I just "can't" cancelThey have

about years ago I was contacted at work by the GSR Magazine services claiming a Magazine publisher were having problems promoting themselves and had this limited time offer which would span yearsIt could not be changed in anyway and would auto cancel at the end of years and there would be no way to renew even if I wanted toThe claimed to be recording the whole thing and implied I would not be able to cancel which at that time did not take all that seriously, my boss by this time was rushing me to get off the phone
months pass and that $I agreed to seems like a waste of money so I call up and try to cancel, they refuse claiming they have a recording of my agreeing to yearsSo I say fine and hang upFew more months pass and they call me up and tell me they have new magazines and want to add more for a few extra dollars each month, Something in the beginning they claimed they could not doWhen I refuse they get upsetAround the year mark I start getting subscript

I’ve been wondering how I’ve been getting all these magazines I did not order not a one of themI answered surveys they asked me what magazines I love that I marked them but it did not say anything about marking them because you are going to be paying for them because I would not pay a penny for any of these magazinesIt was a scam and I was tak n for it I’m not paying these magazines so you can take me to court because I never ever signed up to pay for these magazines and I want you to show me proof that I did you send this to my Credit dropping my credit even lower than it already is they let me see interstate recovery service and Garden State Raiders will not get a penny from me especially $take that out of your surveys asking people what made magazines a like Ask them which magazines they like and then tell them that they’re supposed to be paying for them that you do not do
