Mr *** brought his Toyota 4Runner into our shop on X-XX-XXXX to have the handle on the rear hatch door replaceHe call to state that there was a loose bolt
rattling around in the door, but did not schedule a time to come in for us to check itWhen he came in for his routine service on XX-XX-XXXX the door panel was removed and a loose piece of plastic was found and taken out at no charge to Mr***At this time it was recommended that a brake line be replaced due to a leak and that the front brake pads, rotors and calipers be replaced as the calipers were locked upThe other recommendations that were made at this time were to replace the valve cover gaskets due to leaking and the rear heater hose be replaced also due to leakingMr *** had stated that he heard a whining noise so the technician road tested the vehicle & no noise was heard at that timeWe stressed the importance of replacing the brakes and brake line as the brake pedal of the vehicle was approaching the floor when depressed making it unsafe to drive
On 11-1-Mr *** brought the vehicle in to have the brake work doneHe decided to have us disconnect the rear heater hose instead of replacing thatOur technician heard a slight noise and a rear differential service was done with Mr ***'s permission to determine if that was the cause of the noise
Sometime later Mr *** stopped in as he was still hearing the noiseOur technician went on a road test with Mr *** to see if he heard the noiseThe noise was heard but the technician explained that we would need more time with the vehicle to determine what the problem was
The next time we heard from Mr *** was on 1-28-when he had his vehicle towto the shop with a flat tireThe tires were inspected and it was determined that all needed to be replaced as they fell below safety standardsThe tire that was flat was leaking around the rimMr *** elected to replace just the tire that was flat and stated that he was only keeping the vehicle for a couple more monthsWhen the vehicle was towwe drove Mr *** to his home & picked him back up after the new tire was installed
If Mr *** would be willing to leave his vehicle with us for a full day we will be glad to attempt to diagnose what the cause of the noise is and to give him a quote for whatever repairs would be needed to alleviate the problem

Northshore Automotive is wrongI never requested routine service for 10-28-I never requested an inspection of brakes, etcfor that dayI ONLY asked that the whining noise be fixed on that dayThey never fixed it but instead charged me time for other issues that were not relevant to the original issue
The technician after 11/1/stated that I'd have to pay for even more shop time to resolve the original issue that was never fixedI do not feel I should be required to pay for more shop time to fix this original problem of the whining noiseI feel it is their responsibility to attend to the customer's original complaint and not simply tag on more costs to do what they should have done in the first place, i.e.: do what the CUSTOMER needs first and not whatever they feel like doing

When Mr*** made his appointment for 10-28-he requested an oil change (which is routine service), to remove the loose bolt (found to be a loose piece of plastic) and to check the whirring noise when acceleratingPart of our oil change is to inspect the vehicle & let the customer know what repairs are neededThe plastic piece was removed at no cost to Mr***As stated previously when the technician drove the vehicle and no noise was heard at that time
On 11-1-when Mr*** was in the technician heard a slight noise & the differential service was done to determine if that was the cause as stated earlierWhen there is more than one possibility for the cause of a problem we start with the simplest to try to save our customers from incurring a large expense
As we have already stated we would be willing to attempt to further diagnose what is causing the noise on Mr***'s vehicle at no charge for the diagnosis & to give him a quote for the needed repairs, but he would need to leave the car with us for a full day

I'm not one who usually posts comments, however this time I felt that I really needed and wanted to. We have been going to Orlando for several years as a couple, now that we have children we are continuing our yearly tradition with kids in tow. I was so happy to not only find Sunshine Babysitting Service but in particular a sitter by the name of [redacted] I expressed to [redacted] over the phone how nervous I was as my 3 kids have never been left with someone they don't know. [redacted] not only brought lots of toys for them to play with, she spent most of her time with direct interaction. Which I love!!!! [redacted] and [redacted] were both so accommodating to our requested hours and days. I will defiantly refer Sunshine Babysitting service to my friends when they visit The Orlando area and have asked for them to request [redacted] My kids can't stop raving about her. When my kids are happy that makes me happy and I am one happy mom to have found the best sitter for our future vacations. :-)
