To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing in response to *** ***'s complaint regarding the current balance due on two accounts (*** and ***) with North Sound Emergency Medicine. Our coding team has reviewed and found that per ER provider documentation the CPT codes assigned
are appropriate for these encounters. Mrs. ***'s insurance allowed the full charges, but applied the balance of all three accounts to her deductibleWe are happy to work with Mrs*** to set up a payment plan. If you have any questions or further concerns, please contact me at *** *** *** *** or by email at ***@intermedix.com.Respectfully, *** ***Senior Analyst, IMX

My insurance company did accept the appeal and covered the claim as in - network. However, this does not resolve my concern with North Sound Emergency Medicine. My complaint is the high level I was charged for with no documentation/itemized statement to support that bill. The...
level of care I received by Dr. [redacted] in no ways supports what I am being charged for. He did NOT give me an exam, did not order diagnostic tests, or treat me - even told me that he would not be treating me. All that was done was standard bloodwork, blood pressure monitoring, and I was given 1 pill. To be charged over $700.00 for these limited services is unethical. I will have to pay the debt collector because I don't want this to harm my good credit, but my next step will to be report this to the authorities including the medical board and NHCAA.
