North Star Capital Acquisition LLC/ c/o M&P

North Star Capital Aquisition LLC placed a hold on my bank accounts. I called them at 1-[redacted] to request information about this debt that I supposedly had and they said that their client (who they would not name).I crossed referenced their claim with my credit report and found that debt read on my report as "paid" and they told me to send them via fax my credit report via fax within in the hour and they would rush it to their client for their review. I pointed out to them that how could there be any question about what their client had reported to the credit reporting company - as I can not call those agencies reporting the account "paid in full. "When I called the next day Friday March 22,2012- I spoke with a man this time and told him I had fax confirmation of my finacial advisor faxing North Star Capital my current credit report where it clearly states that the debt was paid in full. The man on the phone said they did recieve it and they were waiting to hear back from their client as it was totally up them regardless of my concrete proof if they would release the hold they have on my back accounts.... and that it might take up to Wednesday before they had an answer. I called back today to see if they had found anything out from their client-this time I spoke with a female who stated that the client was not releasing the hold they had on my account because my credit report that I faxed was not solid evidence that the debt had been paid and I didn't owe them anything. She said I had to have a cleared check when the account was paid and closed back in 2003-when she said that to me - I thought- this is crazy- did she just say and admit that the account was paid in 2003 and she is now asking for additional documentation that they aren't allowed to use credit reports as proof?I continued to ask her to fax me a copy of the Summons and she said they didn't have it that I would have to call the KCCS and I asked her for her clients contact information and she said they wouldn't talk to me.
