North Star Chevrolet West Liberty Reviews (%countItem)

Upon dropping my vehicle off to Chevy for repairs after telling them I heard grinding in front and back and them noting it on the service paper that they were fixing back brakes and rotors along with front brakes and rotors as well to eliminate the grinding and replace brakes and rotors. I spoke to the employee Matt along with my sister several times to assure that the nosies were eliminated and everything was replaced brand new after picking my vehicle up and testing it still had loud grinding in the back from the brakes and rotors which should have been replaced which was stated in my service agreement of paying $879 dollars for service that was not fixed. I asked to test it before pay and Matt refuses saying they had test drive it serval times after completion which means that he falsified information because there was no way they could say they didn’t notice the back brakes and rotors were still grinding had to take my wheel off and check to see that they were not fixed

This letter is in response to the case *** with the 2018 Chevy Impala. Customer returned to dealership after brake repair was performed and stated that grinding noise could still be heard. Technician road tested with customer and was able to verify noise coming from driver side rear wheel. Removed wheel and found inner brake pan on driver side rear to have large metallic flake in casting causing noise. Technician replaced rear brake pads under warranty and road tested, vehicle no longer making noise when brakes where applied but humming noise could be heard from rear. Rear tires where at 2/32 and cupped. Technician replaced both rear tires at no cost to customer as act of good will for returning for brake concern. Repair order is attached showing tires and brake being replaced. Customer was satisfied with resolution and was provided a loaner vehicle while repair was performed. If you have any further questions please let me know thank you.

Sincerely,

Kevin S service manager

Revdex.com:

Upon returning to dealer the Guy in charge went over and beyond to make sure my needs were met at no charge and supplies me with accommodations to ensure I was able to travel while repairs were being made he also included tire replacement and wheel bearings which made me feel valued, favorable and exuberant . He also did it with ease no arguing I didn’t have to explain he was immediately on it and got to it. This is why I will continue to keep doing my business at this location misunderstandings become understood. Thank you Chevrolet on west liberty appreciate you guys. Apologize it came to this point

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards
