Review: North Star put a new roof on my house in November, 2013. Payment was made in full to the tune of $16,660.00. They guaranteed the workmanship for 10 years and the materials for a lifetime. Within a few months, we noticed the roof had started dipping in two different areas. Then some of the roofing shingles along the ridge of the roof started buckling. The 2 areas that are dipping have gotten much worse. They are starting to look like craters. I called North Star and explained what was happening on Monday, May 5th. [redacted] said he'd never had any complaints before, but he would come out to look at it on Friday, May 9, 2014. He never showed up. I have called him everyday since and left messages daily, asking him to call me back. He has not returned any of my calls. This roof is not even 6 months old yet. I paid him good money to do a good job and I want it fixed.Desired Settlement: I want my roof fixed and fixed right. If [redacted] cannot fix it right, I feel that he should be the one to hire someone else to fix his mistakes, at his expense.
