Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/06/17) */
This account has been researched and it was determined that North Suburban Medical Center is in network for this patient's insurance. Should she have any follow up questions about the care she was provided or the services that were billed, our...
Patient Financial Counselor or the Patient Experience Coordinator are happy to assist.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/06/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response still does not address the original complaint that was issued to the Revdex.com. To review I was informed by the North Suburban Medical Center representative on 11-27-14, "all services were to be in-network including the physician, labs, etc." With this understanding of "all services," were in-network I agreed to proceed to receive treatment from North Suburban Medical Center from the assigned physician, and have lab work performed. I found out when I returned home to Texas that I received a bill from the physician that was considered out-of-network. The issue is not if North Suburban Medical Center is in network, but if there medical provider/labs are in-network. Again the facility fraudulently represents there services as all being in-network and bills you otherwise later.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/07/03) */
North Suburban Medical Center has initiated contact with Ms. [redacted] directly and discussed her concerns. We apologize for this experience and would like to assure the Revdex.com and Ms. [redacted] that appropriate internal follow up is being conducted.
