I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards,  [redacted]  the company received a running mower for quote. Was advised 2 weeks. I waited 5. After deciding to ouck it up, the "found the part". When I still declined thwy said I had to pay before picking it up. I did only to find the mowet was in pieces. To say it wasnt worth their time to reassemble with a bent crankshaft is not ok. It ran when dropped off and was returned in pieces and can not be run now. I reject all of the response. If not resolved, further steps will begin in addition to this report against all of the staff in this complaint.

The customers tractor was in our store for repair. Our business as well as other businesses were broken into and several customer units were stolen. This particular unit was recovered by the [redacted] County Sheriffs office and is currently under their control. Our insurance company has agreed to pay...

the current book value for the stolen equipment. Several phone calls to the sheriffs department have not been able to get them to release the tractor as it is being held for evidence.

[redacted] called the Revdex.com today, July 10th. She was advised there is an insurance check for $920 that the company has. She would like the check.

The mower in question was brought in on 7/01/17 not 6/01/17 as stated. The mower was brought in after it had hit something and had a bad vibration. We were asked to do an estimate at which time we determined that the crankshaft was bent. This estimate was done without taking apart the mower. We...

called the customer with the estimate amount and actually tried to talk her out of repairing the unit as the repair price was higher than what we could sell her a new mower for. We were advised to proceed with the repair which then required us to remove and disassemble the engine, which we did. After we received  the new crankshaft from John Deere it was discovered that the crankshaft was made wrong and would need to be reordered. The customer was called and informed of this and then stated that she would be picking up the mower because she was not happy. The charge she received was the amount of time we spent taking the mower apart, we were not paid to put the mower back together. It made no sense to reassemble an engine with a bent crankshaft as the mower would not have run for very long plus the price of all new gaskets. We told her that the original quote was still good but we had to wait for the new crankshaft. The customer declined and she was only charged for the work performed.
