Enclosed are copies of the work order and the credit card receipt signed by the customer. The lawn mower in question was brought in because it would not start. There are no additional requests; i.e to contact customer to discuss solution to fix the machine. The unit had water in the gas tank and carb which is not covered under warranty. Water in gas is a common problem if the customer does not treat the gas for fas now has a "shelf life" of 2 weeks untreated. Unfortunately every issue with a new unit is not covered by warranty. Customers should refer to the owners manual for details about warranty. The customer did not specify a call be placed to discuss the issue so the unit was fixed. The work order clearly shows the cost of the repair of $70.20. It is really a shame the customer misunderstood the amount. Both receipts (1 of the work order and the credit card slip) clearly show the $70.20 after the payment was already run through the credit card machine. As mentioned earlier the customer was provided a copy of the work order and the credit card receipt that he signed. He even stated that his credit card reciept reflects $70.20 so unknown how someone would level such a charge or make such a statement. The customer's unit was fixed and as long as the customer treats the gas used in this unit will will prevent water from being in the gas tank and carb.
