Again, I understand you are out of pocket money. Also again, if we could have got the truck back to [redacted] they could have fixed the truck. The problem may have even been something they did and would have been covered under warranty. It has come to my attention for the first time in your last response that you have sold the truck, this is news to me. I did NOT ever tell you that you should have brought the truck back to me and I would have sent it to auction. I never knew the truck was sold and I tried countless time to get the truck back to Premier for repairs, not back to me so I could purchase it back and send it to auction. Lastly, the only issue on the truck known to me upon selling it was the heater. We noticed that problem on the day of the sale and fixed it and got it back to you the next day. When we learned the truck had an injector problem, we fixed that at our expense. The last thing I want to do is sell a truck knowing it has issues and have to deal with an upset customer. We spend thousands of dollars every week repairing these trucks before they sell so we can avoid what we are doing right now. There is no way of me knowing the truck had any other issue at the time of sale. I don't know how anyone can say that when they can't even figure out with is wrong with the truck. I would however, if you are wiling to, sell you another truck at a very discounted rate to try to make this right. Best Regards,[redacted]North Texas Autosports###-###-####[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The truck broke down on the Friday of New Years weekend. I had to have it towed back to my house by the insurance and then an out of pocket expense of $85 to Ford dealership. The dealership is less than 8 miles whereas [redacted] diesel is over 20 miles. I have been told by two service managers, two diesel mechanics and a shop manager that there were glaring problems with this truck and the seller knew of them. Yes, [redacted] discounted the truck $1000 but that's comparing apples to oranges when I'm now out not only $11,900 but $4417 for repair, $1000 for new tires, $250 for oil changes, $133 for two new glow plugs.  I'm still trying to understand how [redacted] could have it done cheaper when [redacted] fixed it once, missed problems and it still broke down.  Next, I no longer own the truck as I have sold it at a huge loss to me. I was informed by the buyer that even the wholesaler wouldn't buy it due to all the mechanical problems. So I am out a lot of money, stranded out of state, missed four days of work as a nurse practitioner. And lastly, during a conversation to us, [redacted] said you should have brought it back to me and I would have bought it and turned it around to sell at an auction. So again, now we see he is willing to sell a truck with known major mechanical problems on the auction and to some unsuspecting person. Very concerning. We are out of lot of money, I would like to know what [redacted] and North Texas Motorsports is willing to do to fix customer relations and customer service recovery?
Regards,
[redacted]

This truck was sold to [redacted] on 11/30/2016 for $11,000.00. The truck was discounted over $1,000.00 at the time of the sale per the customers request. The day the truck was purchased we noticed the heater was not working properly. I had the heater fixed and the truck was picked up the next...

day in perfect running condition. A few days after the purchase I received a phone call from [redacted] stating the truck was running rough. I requested that she drop it off at my shop and I would take care of it for her. I took the truck to my mechanic, [redacted] & [redacted], in Mansfield, TX and they replaced two fuel injectors, a fuel filter housing, valve cover gaskets and new fuel filters to the sum of $999.31 that North Texas Autosports paid for in full and returned to Mrs.[redacted] in a timely manner (I have included said invoice). There was one injector replaced before the truck was listed for sale, this is the third injector Mr.[redacted] is referring to. I got a phone call after the holidays from Mrs.[redacted] informing me of the truck breaking down and said that she had it towed to a Ford dealership. I advised her to have it sent back to [redacted] to be diagnosed. We even spoke about how costly it would be at a Ford dealer and they would probably attempt to replace everything instead of the faulty parts to make sure to get a guaranteed fix, but would cost her substantially. She said Ford wanted to charge somewhere between $600-$800 to replace the Fuel Injector Control Module (FICM) in which I told her I could have done for $125.00. The truck was left at the Ford dealership and they did just that. They gave the [redacted]'s a bill totaling somewhere around $5,000.00 and the truck is still not fixed. Mr. [redacted] called me, ([redacted]) yesterday 1/14/17 and told me he was very frustrated that he had spent the money he did at Ford and it still wasn't fixed. I told him I completely understood his frustration, but it would've been fixed correctly and cheaper had it gone to [redacted]. After calling my mechanics is and cursing, I told Mr.[redacted] that I was starting to get frustrated and he said he would take his frustration to Yelp and hung up the phone. I repaired the truck prior to listing it online, I fixed a heater problem at the time of purchase, I spent nearly $1,000.00 repairing the truck days or maybe even a week after the purchase. I tried to help by getting it back to [redacted]. The customer should be frustrated at the Ford dealership for taking his $5,000.00 and not fixing his truck, not at me for trying to help and spending money on an as-is sold truck that I didn't have to, but did because it was the right thing to do. At what point is North Texas Autosports not responsible for their truck?
