Certified mail going to Coppell never comes out of there
I mailed a certified letter at the Irving TXpost office on 7/19/2021. As of 8/17/2021 still shows in transit from Coppell where Irving sent it. I filed a tracking and it says it is running late. WTF.
I mailed another copy of the legal doc on 8/6/2021 from pottsboro TX, thinking the first one was a fluke. Guess what same status as of 8/17/2021. WTF happens in Coppell Texas where all certified mail is sent?

I went to the Irving post office and they said they can not contact Coppell, not allowed.
Something is rotten in Coppell TX..

Incompetency, irrationality
I ordered a package set to arrive in 3-4 days, Coppell TX distribution center sent it to Dallas after being in their possession "pending acceptance", in a few days, it was sent to the Dallas regional distribution center, where days later, made it back to the Coppell distribution center. It made it back to this vortex at 3:20AM yesterday, is still there, yet USPS is still BSing me that it should arrive in the Pacific NW by 9PM today. Yeah right. Every other package sent First Class frequently updated and were estimated to arrive today by 6PM and 9PM, but came when the mail comes, 9AM, scanned in mailbox minutes apart. Nothing but a bogus estimation and its last movement and whereabouts. That was after Coppell RDC sent it to Dallas RDC who brought it back to them. So it's in Coppell, but USPS will estimate its arrival as today until 9PM, then it will say Monday by 9PM, at 9PM it will say Tuesday by 9PM and so on. This is Priority mail. First Class from New Hampshire came in 3 and 4 days. Early even. I can't even imagine what's going on there. Amazon bought and destroyed USPS.

WTF - actually NO stars
A package arrived at this distribution center on April 19th at 1:31 AM. IOT has still NOT left the center for delivery to a Tomball TX address. Another package mailed at the same time was delivered about 10 days. WTF - get some people who can do their job & get packages delivered in a timely manner. My husband mailed a discus & a shot put to our youngest grandson - guess their are a bunch of wimps in TX who can't lift 12# 9.6 oz. package. It cause almost $40 to mail this to TX - DELIVER THE DAMN PACKAGE - -please!

Something is definitely wrong at the COPPELL TX DISTRIBUTION CENTER. An item received on April 10, 2020 has made two round trips to Abilene as of April 21, 2020. Another shipment received on April 17, 2020 has made one round trip to Abilene instead of to the correct destination. In the past items have been held for as long as two weeks before leaving the COPPELL TX DISTRIBUTION CENTER. I never want any of my shipment to go to the COPPELL TX DISTRIBUTION CENTER. Bad service seems to be the goal at the COPPELL TX DISTRIBUTION CENTER. They seem to have achieved it.

This facility reminds me of Richmond CA. It's either lost in transit or 3-5 months for delivery. Unacceptable service

I have had multiple packages go through the Coppell plant that ended up taking 12 to 14 days just to leave the plant. Calls to USPS are of no help. There seems to be a problem of bins full of packages getting pushed to the side and not getting processed in a timely manner. Eventually somebody at the plant recognizes the problem and gets the bin pushed through the system. Something needs to be done to address this problem. It makes the US Postal Service look like the Keystone Cops or The Three Stooges. I know it is the automation and package volume that is causing this problem but someone at USPS needs to figure out a solution because it results in very lengthy delays and a horrible customer service experience!

I think there needs to be a change of managment and supervisiion at this facility. Twice in the last two weeks this distribution center has sent packages on wild goose chases and it took multiple calls to finally receive my packages. The first package went from the distribution center to Flower Mound, Tx (filed as mis-sent) then returned to distribution center, then sent to Winnsboro, TX. (filed as mis-sent) then returned again to distribution center before finally arriving at the correct address. It was an ordered package from Amazon, address was correct and clear. expected delivery was 1 day. It took 9 days to travel 50 miles from origin to destination.
Second package was also amazon item origin was Terrel, TX sent to Coppell distribution center, distribution center sent it to Pottsboro TX. 90 miles away, (filed as mis-sent) pkg was returned to distribution center and am now awaiting delivery to destination. Destination address is Quinlan, TX. The distance between the Terrell post office and the Quinlan post office is 18 miles. The delivery was supposed to be 1 day. I'm on day 3 now and still waiting. If you ship packages it would be better to use UPS or Fedex, not USPS, at least through this facility.

We sent our vehicle registration from Richardson, addressed to Dallas Cnty, but going thru Coppell, the envelope came open. A postal worker there found our checks and registration stubs and returned/mailed them to us. We think that is great and very conscientious of them. Yea USPS.

I'd give a zero if I could. Packages sent from East Texas to anywhere in Dallas or north (I'm sending to Illinois) have to go through this facility. If you absolutely need a package there, I suggest you use FedEx or UPS. Since last Christmas season, I have had three packages go into limbo sometimes for three weeks. This is the Bermuda Triangle of the postal service. Don't bother sending anything priority. You might as well save yourself some money and send it regular mail. It's going to arrive late anyway. The entire staff there needs to be fired and replaced starting with management since they can't seem to get a handle on what their job actually is. I have never had an issue with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or any other free-market courier service like I have with this distribution center. It's outrageous.

My package was supposed to arrive 10 days ago. It has been stuck at this distribution center for SEVEN days.

This is the black hole of USPS. have experienced two packages, one I mailed the other one I was to receive. Both packages get to the Coppell Distribution Center and sit for days and packages are not delivered timely. There is no recourse unless you pay for the highest price shipping. Priority mail has no guarantees of 3-5 day delivery and you don't get any money back for a package that takes twice or long or never arrives. Coppell distribution center needs serious help.

My express mail never gets delivered after it departs the facility, has happened 3 times
