John and his team were excellent to deal with from start to finish. From planning, building and post construction customer service, they are the best! I would highly recommend North Twin Builders. The finished product was exceptional with an attention to detail that is unparalleled.

North Twin Builders remodeled and added on to our cottage in Eagle River. The result was incredible. They were extremely creative in all aspects of the project especially the addition. We wanted to retain the warmth and coziness of our cottage while adding on about 40% more floor space. With their planning and input we were able to accomplish our goal. They were on budget and on time. They paid attention to detail and gave us a truly high quality product. All their subs were professional, creative and excellent to work with. We have built 4 other houses from scratch and this was out first remodel/addition project. It was more difficult that building from scratch but NTB made it a positive experience.

We have used North Twin Builders twice in the last year to finish our basement, add a bedroom, replace our front door and add a window in our back entryway. [redacted] and his crew did a great job and my wife and I are very pleased with the results. The work was done on time and the crew cleaned up as the jobs moved to completion. They were flexible with the work schedule and made great suggestions for the two projects. We will use North Twin Builders again when we have more projects at our home!

We recently remodeled our kitchen, which also included a new hickory wood floor throughout the kitchen and family room area in our Eagle River, Wisconsin home. We chose John [redacted] and his team at North Twin Builders (NTB), and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We went in with an idea of what we wanted to do with the kitchen, but ended up with a much better design than we ever thought possible due to the creativity John’s team brought to the table. John coordinated and managed all aspects of the project keeping it moving forward and finishing on time. He allowed us to work with all of his sub-contractors and we couldn’t be happier with their expertise, and their work. Everyone at NTB, John, Rae Ann and Jolyn went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the project. After the project was completed John followed up to make sure everything down to the last detail met our expectations leaving no loose ends.

We came to North Twin Builders with a unique floor plan. They completed the project perfectly, on-time and within budget. We truly enjoyed every minute spent working with the office and construction staff. We selected North Twin Builders to construct an addition to our small 1940’s vintage cottage on a lake in Northern Wisconsin. We were most concerned with maintaining the historic feeling of the interior spaces and matching the addition to the existing structure. We could not have been happier with the result. John [redacted] and his crew were accommodating, flexible, creative, and very professional in carrying out the project. Their workmanship was outstanding. We will use them for the next phase of our renovations and recommend them without qualification.

We recently completed a two projects to our home in Northern WI. This was our first experience working with North Twin Builders and we were very satisfied. A number of years ago the contractor who build our home went out of business. After an enthusiastic recommendation by a friend whose judgment we trusted, we turned to North Twin Builders to address several needs. From the outset, we were very impressed not only with John's breadth of knowledge, but his ability to communicate effectively with home owners. Upon the completion of these projects, the confidence we had placed in North Twin turned out to be fully justified. Specifically, North Twin stayed on budget, held to the original timeline, took the time to maintain a clean worksite at all times and, of course, the final product consistently justified our expectations.
My wife and I take a great deal of pride in our home and as such, have a high standard for any work done. Fortunately, John and his employees also set a high bar so the relationship has been a mutually satisfactory one.

North Twin Builders does excellent work. We have used them on 5 different projects from extensive remodel to garage rejuvenation on our lake cabin.Top notch,trustworthy, on time, Prompt telephone return! and easy to work with from a remote location over internet with camera,etc They clean up after their work,each day! In short, a lot of attention to detail.

We had a residing project along with a side porch and did research and gathered estimates from several contractors. I read the reviews and paid attention to the contractors thoughts on the project. What most impressed me with [redacted] was the way he thought outside the box. Contrary to what was standard, he had his own thoughts on how things should be done to make them right. I was quite impressed with that.
I really can’t say too much more about [redacted] that you won’t read in the other reviews. Working with him was a pleasure and he takes his estimate quite seriously and tries to stay as close as possible. There were several unforeseen things that needed to be corrected on my house which called for time and material. It bothered him to go over the estimate, but that couldn’t be helped and was quite understandable.
Like I said it was a smaller project so I didn’t see a lot of [redacted] during the work although he did stop out on several occasions to make sure it was being done to his way of doing things and to contribute his thoughts to any problem solving.
What I was most impressed with was the help he had. The foreman was [redacted], with a crew of [redacted] Each and every one of them was friendly, courteous, hard working and very skilled.
They took the project to heart as if it was their own and tried very hard to make sure things were done correctly. Many problems that should have been addressed with the original builder were found and corrected. Some problems were just unique to the house and solutions were garnered from their collective experience that was quite impressive.
No matter who you are you can feel very comfortable having this crew do whatever project you have in mind to the best of their ability and being just a pleasure to have around. [redacted] and [redacted]
