we could not verify.) We had to inspect customer performed repairs as part of our diagnoses. We diagnosed and found the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and Shift Pad failed. We prepared and submitted an estimate to customers Insurance Co.. Insurance then declined to pay for labor to inspect customer disassembled items, this left customer responsible to pay for deductible & inspection. Customer instructed us "Do not repair anything that insurance won't pay for". NVD has not, nor will we ever guarantee the complete safety of any vehicle left at our facility, that's impossible, especially if you refuse to leave the door keys with us to do so. Customers Insurance found NVD had no liability in vandalism claim.
Review: I took my motorhome to North Valley Diesel for a electrical fire. I was covered by my insurance and so they replaced some things on my motorhome that the insurance covered. Then they told me they had to check a few more things on the electrical side that I was never asked to check and charged me more money. So when my husband went to pick up the motorhome there were certain things that worked when he took in there that didnt workn when he left. and the items that they charged me extra for that they supposedly look at were not working. But here it the real kicked while my motorhome was there is was broke into and vandilized and so when my husband went to pick up the motorhome he was never told it was broke into he had to see this for himself. and when I called the owner of this business he told me too bad it not my responsibility and I needed to call my insurance. I told him I called and asked his worker specifically if my motorhome would be locked up and safe and they assured it would be. I also asked the owner if he had cameras on his facility and he said they had stopped working 2 weeks prior.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix what still isnt working and give me my money that I paid cash to them. and to acknowledge that it is their responsiblity if they have someones motorhome or vehicle there they need to make sure it is protected and taken care of.
