North Valley Mechanical

I called my home warranty company, Fidelity National, because my heater was out North Valley came to the house, isolated the issue to the condenser motor, and informed me that they could not replace the motor because the coil was too dirty The price tag to clean the coil, $1, Due to how dirty the coil was, they would need to remove it from the system, pull it out of the attic, clean it, and then replace it I called for a second opinion from a third party company who came to the house and told me that my coil was almost completely clean Unlike North Valley, he had pictures to show me The second best part to it all, the second company had to chisel away the factory glue to look at the coil Factory glue! Meaning that North Valley didn't even look at the coil in the first place The best part about it, North Valley now has pictures that they offered to send to the home warranty company! Somehow, they have pictures of my coil without opening the unit to look at those coils I found out that they pay their techs based on commission I guess that a home warranty call didn't quite pay what that tech felt he deserved to make that day I will be filing a Revdex.com complaint against these scam artists

Absolutely wonderful experience! Our AC was going down on a Thursday. The company that came out was terribly inept. The technician examined it, and says "I'm turning the thermostat down to 70 degrees, so it's going to get real cold in here"(WHAT in the world is THAT going to fix?????) We had a loud rattle going on in the unit, within hours it was completely broken and our house was 90+ degrees inside. The technician said a part needed to be ordered that would take 3-5 days!!!! Needless to say NVM was sent out the very next day and had our unit up and running in 2 hours WITH the necessary part installed as well. We were very pleased with their fast and friendly service and highly recommend them.
