Hi [redacted] , It was an absolute pleasure speaking with you today In regards to the complaint filed by Mr& Mrs [redacted] , we have completed all work to the customers satisfaction I've attached a Customer Satisfaction form signed by Mrs [redacted] on 6/30/stating she was happy with the completed work I've also attached a zero balance invoice showing Mr& Mrs [redacted] have paid us in full for the completed work as well We're very sorry it got this far but we're glad we were all able to reach a happy resolution If there is anything else that you need from us, please feel free to call me anytime Thanks again [redacted] and I hope you have a wonderful day!

We certainly apologize this project has been difficult to complete Obviously this is major construction and unforeseen issues can arise When we had done the initial inspection, there were existing roofing systems making it impossible for us to see any damage to the brick or masonry work We're certainly going to do everything in our power to make sure the project is completed to everyone's satisfaction but this was just something we could predict At this point we don't believe the roof is susceptible to leaks and we certainly want to make sure it's completed before there's any chance it will be I can be reached at the number listed below to answer any questions or concerns at any time Thank you.Sincerely,Scott N [redacted] - Operations Manager###-###-####

The production manager and the person handling my roof account from North-West came to the house on December 3rdThis was the third time everything had been reviewedThey said they would send people to make repairs and would order new wall caps and fix the flat roofOn December 4th, a gutter company came and replaced the gutters, which was greatA workman also came and did some repairs to the damaged trim and tried to fix the drywall around the skylightsHe returned on December 9th and addressed the issue with nails sticking through the shed roofI assume the wall caps have been ordered and they are waiting on those to complete the repairs to the flat roof but I have not heard anything more to dateAs of 12/14/2015, they seem to be about half way done with the repair list

We apologize the project took so long Unfortunately with windows, since they are all custom, they do take some time to get back As far as the windows being [redacted] , we didn't bill your insurance company for [redacted] windows nor are we up-charging you for [redacted] windows We billed you and your insurance company for new windows which is what we installed As far as anything not passing inspection, the city passed your project on 7/14/and I'd be more than happy to provide that paperwork We were just made aware of the shingles that were sticking up and I've already got those assigned to be fixed The reason we're asking for payment is because the work is complete, the shingles coming up are a punch list item that we're going to take care of right away but we need to be paid for the work we've completed Again, let me apologize for the delay in getting everything done Hopefully the credit we gave you helps compensate you some for your troublesThank you

We are scheduling an appointment with the homeowner to do an entire walkthrough to address these issues accordingly and to be made whole

This matter is not completely resolved due to recent inclement weather we have had We finally have received all of the metal required to do the repair, and once we get a break in the weather we will be able to finish the repair Weather issues are beyond our control - we do not feel that this should be a registered complaint

I have reviewed the complaint and we're sorry *** *** received a phone call but it was NOT from our office. The number that showed up on his caller i.ddoesn't belong to us. I've tried calling that number back and it rings to a busy signal. We do not do any telemarketing out of
our office. In some cases, other companies will use telemarketing and if they have an upset person on the other line, they'll use the name of a different company so they won't get in trouble. This is the only thing I can think of that might have happened. Again, we're sorry that he received a phone call he did not want but it did not come from the actual North West Roofing. Thank you

North West Roofing has a signed contract with someone other then [redacted]. She purchased this house after the roof was installed. After the...

initial inspection, the [redacted] failed it. North West Roofing has fixed it and has requested a new inspection. We have been in contact with [redacted]'s husband and he is also aware of the situation.
Per the [redacted] they said it would take another 2 months for it to be inspected. We have been on the phone with the City to implore them to inspect now due to [redacted]'s inability to acquire insurance. They have told us 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 8th.

This business sent out a representative to fix the flashing issue and when it was re-inspected it once again failed inspection. They will not respond to our phone calls, voicemails, etc. I am not sure what to do from this point but we need this issue to resolved as our home owners insurance is not covering our roof since it will not pass [redacted]

We are diligently working on a solution for Ms. [redacted]. One of the issues we have had with this inspection was the fact that the original contract was under a different owner's name. After the departure of one of our employees, it was difficult to find out what was going on due to this discrepancy. Contrary to what Ms.[redacted] has stated, I have received no calls from this party.
Aside from this, the City of Aurora has been months behind on their inspection schedule. This has been stated on the City of Aurora website for many months as seen here:

Their solution to this issue on the part of the City of Aurora was to subcontract inspections out to a company named "Safebuilt." This company's website can be found here:
http://safebuilt.com/planning-services/building-department/building-code-inspect... /> The inspection that we scheduled for this project was done on October 5th. Our field tech, Joel, went out with Safebuilt's inspector and verified that this address was inspected and passed. Safebuilt has supplied us with the inspection result ("Final" means that there were no notes of correction on the inspection and, thus, it was passed. That result is attached to this email.
We are not sure why the City of Aurora is refusing to acknowledge this result, but we have scheduled another inspection which should be done by the end of next week. To clarify, Northwest Roofing does not fulfill this inspection request, and complaints about delays in inspections due to snow, rain, or any other inclement weather should be voiced to the City of Aurora.
