BUYER BEWARE......! Dave is very unethical and very unprofessional in his business practices! I have a $50,000 contract with him and it clearly states 50% upon rough in completion and 50% due upon trim out completion and to this date Dave is not complete with the job as initially agreed upon and has in turn breached his contact and has been hounding me for money for over 6 months now and on top of it had the audacity to put a lien on our house! I have contacted the ROC and Dave is under investigation as we speak!

I had a a/c unit installed on my home by Northwind Mechanical. I immediately started having issues with the unit (coil leaking). For the next 3-4 years, they sent technicians out each time ( while in warranty) each one misdiagnosed or just added coolant which kept my home cool until the next summer. Instead of replacing the coil. In the end, the owner became so rude and completely stopped returning calls. I had to use another company to finally fix my unit. I spent 2 summers without a/c once for 4 days and once for 2 weeks while they supposedly ordered a part which was not the correct part in one instance and the second time, pre payment was required for them to order the part.

About 3-11-15 I called for an estimate to replace all ducting. [redacted] came out and gave an estimate of $595 to $598. to replace all ducting under the mobile office. a would ahaul away old ducting and furnish material to raise new ducting off of ground. [redacted] also said a signed contract was not needed at the time of the bid.
[redacted] said they could start anytime in the next 5 weeks. I called them towards the end of March and set of a date for repair. They wanted to do the job at 7am on April 6. They never showed up. I called about 8:30 and asked when they were coming? [redacted] the man who sets up dates for work said they would be there on 7 April at 8 AM. Gave no excuse on why they did not show up on the the 6th. [redacted] showed up at 8:30 on the 7th stayed about 15 to 20 minutes. He had crawled under the mobil and tugged on some ducting. He said he would be back with the new ducting if in stock in about 30 minutes. If not in stock he would be back in hour. He never returned. I called and got nothing but excuses.
8 April, the next day, my tenant complained saying they had hardly any air coming into the mobil. I called [redacted] and he told me [redacted] told him the ducting was rotted. I inspected under the mobil and the ducting was pulled apart at a joint and was not rotted. They refused to repair their error and would harge me $58 service call and labor uof up to $100 depending on how long the repair would take. . Note: before [redacted] pulled on ducting A/C and all vents were working correctly. During this phone call they said they would not do the job.
North Wind sent [redacted] to do the estimate and I had a verbal agreement with [redacted] to do the job in March. They set a repair date of the 6th and then the 7th not honoring either. They pulled apart the ducting, decided not to do the job and then would not repair their damage their workman cause in a timely manner. This letter is a complaint of extremely unethical and poor business practices.
