There were unrecognized charges on my bank statements (Dec and Feb statements) I called NEA to question the charges and I was told to just google the company names, but nothing familiar came up It was then (early 2015) that I decided to dispute the charges Per her request, I faxed said statements twice to NEA's investigator Sheila W***...first in April and then again in July Sheila then advised that I should be sending my faxes to another branch Sheila's last contact with me was in August when she advised via email that she would have "Debi" look into issuing a provisional credit, but I never heard back her or from Debi ever again I attempted to contact a manager The NEA website gave a name and an address for the chairman of the supervisory committee In October 2015, I wrote and mailed him a letter asking for help That letter came back "return to sender": BOX CLOSED I called NEA to verify the website's information and was told the POB # was

On July **, 2017, I was contacted by the Northeast Alliance Federal Credit Union's fraud department, via text message and informed that there was suspicious activity on my debit card I immediately contacted customer service, by phone, and was informed that several withdrawal transactions were attempted using my debit card information I informed customer service that I had not made any of these transactions and was advised to go to the bank Monday morning to file a dispute for the one successful fraudulent withdrawal of $
On July **, 2017, I went to the Northeast Alliance Federal Credit Union, located at ** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** and spoke to Laura (ext***) She assisted me in filling out a dispute form and notified me that it should take approximately weeks for me to get the money put back into my account
On July **, at 4:P.M., I received a voice message from Laura asking that I return her call in reference to the above matte

He said that I should leave a message via voice mail and someone will call me backWhen you call your bank, isn't it to speak with someone? When I told him I was cancelling my account he said ok and hung upSo not only do they have poor customer service, they don't care about their customersHorrible, horrible, horrible They don't deserve to be in business

I have been a member for over 10 years. Now I can't seem to reach anyone in this branch when needed. I choose every option for each branch and no one answers. Finally I may get the [redacted] office. They seem to be the only one's who answers. I spoke to a supervisor Andy in the main office who could care less. A young lady picked up prior who was having a personal conversation in the background. She never answered and hung up on me. When I explained this to Andy he excused it to there being a lot of young ladies there so he didn't know who it was. When I asked if there were so many people there, why is it that no one answers the phone? He said that I should leave a message via voice mail and someone will call me back. When you call your bank, isn't it to speak with someone? When I told him I was cancelling my account he said ok and hung up. So not only do they have poor customer service, they don't care about their customers. Horrible, horrible, horrible. They don't deserve to be in business.

Review: I have tried for over 1 year to close my account with this bank through verbal and written instruction. They have not closed the account and have sent paper statements to incorrect addresses.Desired Settlement: I wish the account to be closed within 2 business days
